Pros +
- Very nice traditional kasbah style hotel. Excellent and helpful staff (everyone - reception, restaurant, maintenance, security were friendly and kind). Very good breakfast. Dinner was excellent - even had a couple of nice french wines available.
- Great staff, great access, nice pool.
- Everything was well at Tizimi and the pool fantastic. It was a relief compared to the modern all you can eat with entertainment places without any authentic look and feel that are popping up in the area.
Cons -
- Tea room was so full of smoke it was impossible for non-smokers. Thank you for having restaurant as non-smoking.
- Leaks in the bathroom.
- A large group of foreign tourists who were noisy and enjoying their stay in their own bubble, took away some of the relaxed athmosphere. The hotel served alcohol in a somewhat smokey and bar with tables full of empy bottles and cans.

Nice architecture in Moroccan style. The garden and the location of the rooms around the wonderfull swimmingpool gave the hotel a fairytale like appearance.

Beautiful kasbah building with a nice pool area. The hallways are very nice decorated and we had a nice and spacious room. We took a calm walk to the local city center, very nice place.
This place seems to be an overnighter for group travels with elder people. It's very, very calm and peaceful until they arrive and literally flood the place, until they leave very early in the morning with their suitcases in the echoing hallways. Also it seems that this place is the only place in town where alcohol is served. Not only in the evenings but also at daytime there are a lot of people - locals, tourists, tourguides - and mostly men, sitting around, drinking beers and wine and literally staring at you, sitting at the pool even with clothes on. Very unpleasant. Also the staff was hard to deal with - at breakfast, everyone is super friendly and in the evening you get rude feelings. We didn't take it personally because we think it is because of the atmosphere there of groups arriving, leaving, being not the easiest to deal with in the tourism industry. Another point: The laundry service was the most expensive we've ever got in Morocco and the clothes were even bleached and smelled aggressive.
Big room with a bath. Restaurant on the site.
The hotel with a big potential, but everything is a bit of shabby chic. Table clothes were dirty, towels well used.
The room was light and airy with a view over the pool on one side and countryside on the other. The bed was huge and really comfy, the bathroom was clean and everything worked. The staff were really helpful and helped us store our bikes safely and the food was great - typical moroccan breakfast but one of the better ones. A lovely big old high ceilinged building built like a castle!
Maybe bottled water could have been free but apart from that nothing not to like.
Great hotel when it comes to its grandeur, the common areas, the swimming pool with bar. Standard rooms. Restaurant just average level. Breakfast was great.
setting/layout with pool
no hot water to shower, and very little awareness or sensitivity by staff.. eg no "we're sorry, and will reduce your bill"Chicken dinner was not very good.. The buffet was nearly finished by tour group, so we ordered a la carte.. mustard chicken was grilled but no sauce. Lighting in bedroom/bath-/ 3 light bulbs burned out.. ??. Telephone// landline not working (no tome), so we couldn't call fromt desk to report light bulbs and no hot water.
Room was clean and comfortable, nice styling of the hotel. Hospitable security guy.
Missed some shade around the pool. The pool felt a bit dirty, and the lounge beds seemed gross. It seemed like locals came to drink (alcohol) there, which didn’t really add to the atmosphere.Couldn’t really relax there even though the kasbah and the pool should be able to facilitate something like that
Never Again
The bed was rock hard just like sleeping on cement floor. pillows were just as bad. Shower caused water to run all over bathroom floor. Buffet for diner was terrible. TV did not work. room is really old
The rooms were very comfortable, the building itself is very nice. Easily the best part of this hotel was the pool, which we needed very badly.
The food was just okay. We were happy to see a breakfast buffet, which we had not experienced in most other places we stayed in Morocco. The town itself is not very nice, and the hotel is 20 minute walk to the downtown area. There’s not very much around.
Excellent location for enjoying the desert activities that are available at Merzouga 50 km away. Good facilities, comfortable room, with welcoming and helpful staff.
The hotel is very nice, the staff friendly and the breakfast was good.
The room was ok there were like 10 mosquitoes in our room.
Clean, good location, safe
They wanted to charge 20dh for water which costs 6dh everywhere
What a fantastic place to stay. Lots of parking which was great as we were in a group of 4wd vehicles. As soon as we drive through the gate we were blown away by this place. Very friendly welcome from the staff, good rooms and bathrooms. We had a drink in the bar before heading for dinner, both of which were reasonably priced.Slept very well and enjoyed breakfast the next morning. We were made to feel very welcome as we decided to have a much slower start to the morning, no one rushed us to check out before 12.I really hope I will get to stay here again
Only small issue, there was no hot water in our room when we arrived, 3 others in our group had the same issue. This was raised with the management and was sorted by the time we had dinner.
It’s a nice property with chill vibes. We landed here after our desert stay was canceled because of sandstorm. The breakfast is great. We also booked a desert tour with them which was a unique experience.
The Italian bidet they had didn’t work and was leaking. But everything else was fine
Private parking space, friendly staff, good facilities and nice room to stay.
No heating in the bathroom and shower head does not hold in place.
The staff of the restaurant was really friendly and the food was delicious! The sitting area around the pool was really beautiful and the room was really big
So the room we booked didnt actually resemble the pictures at all.. in the pictures, it was a moroccon-style, warm and cosy room, in reality the room was "upgraded" to be more modern, but it made it cold and not cosy at all.. the light was really unpleasant. We just wouldn't have booked this because we always chose more authentic places, but that is ofcourse a preference. They should definetly update the pictures of the rooms though. Another thing that needs some work is the shower. Our bathroom turned into a pool! And we couldnt adjust the head of the shower to prevent it .. Last thing: check out was at 12, the cleaning lady tried to come into our room at 9:30! I was showering at the time, with the bathroom door open. If the key hadn't been on the outside door.. she did this THREE times btw. NOT COOL, gave me a heart attack every freaking time. ALWAYS KEEP THE KEY ON THE DOOR!!!
Nice place, comfortable room, swimming pool was good. The head waiter was good to us.
There could be more plugs in the room. The bathroom tended to flood from the shower.
