Hotel de Bretagne

Very large apt. Spacious, comfortable and not far from the old town,

Everything was neat and clean. The room was a good size and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was good and a good value.

The setting wasn't the best, on a corner with construction nearby, but it was nevertheless not noisy. Also, there wasn't an elevator. These weren't a big disturbance

We stayed one night in this hotel. The room was quiet , the bed was comfy. Nothing to complain.

It is a bit outside of the centre, the surrounding area have been regenerated and still there was some works.

The facilties were very clean and looked brand new. The layout was great and felt very spacious. The shower was amazing. We were very happy with our stay here.

The external area of the hotel wasnt that great, the entrance, check in etc, the breakfast wasnt too great, but was cheap, the room was absolutely outstanding though, so nice

The staff was so nice, the room was renovated, and there was a bar/restaurant immediately downstairs that didn't stay open past 2100, so we were able to conveniently get food without being disturbed. There was also free parking just across the street with clear view from the window.

There was only 1 very uncomfortable pillow option that was so thick. The hot pot had mold growing in it, and the communal areas were not clean at all with things and trash bags scattered about and years of grime built up on the walls/banister.This hotel is not wheelchair or handicap accessible.

The entrance, stairwell and outside appearance let the hotel down.

The room was surprisingly nice and clean after having passed through the hall that was highly unpromising.

I liked the help I received to carry my bags upon arrival and to be able to check in a little earlier.

The hotel had a strong smell of cigarettes and they didn't help me go down the stairs with my bags as they had promised.

Staff was very nice and the room was clean.

The hotel is pretty shabby, probably old, needs a good reno, has thin walls, right above a bar where people are loud even after 23:30, and by the street, it's too expensive for what it offers, we got a studio with a balcony in a new building in Dinan for example.

Traditional small town corner hotel with a brasserie downstairs on the square. Sufficiently modernised without loss of character. Decent facilities. Clean. Generous breakfast bar (7 euros).

Reception closes at 8 pm. They should think of automatically sending info for access in case of late arrival at time of booking. This wasn't a problem as I did arrive just in time, but another half an hour and I could have been stuck.Note : as I found out they do have a procedure for access and checking in after reception desk closes; they just need to send it "just in case".

Room very tired and basic, even by 2 star standards

The owner could not do enough for us , excellent suite exceptional value ,kettle, microwave, fridge in the room .we are bikers and the owner provided a locked garage for us easily held 4 large bikes . Good location with a bar next door , good breakfast at a very reasonable rate will stay again

We stayed three nights and there was no room service i.e. bathroom not cleaned and the two towels supplied were not changed once. The reception wasn't open until two o'clock. There was a fridge in the room but there was no socket for it.Sorry would not recommend this hotel for people on holiday.
