Inexpensive and basic hotel very well located for the railway station. The receptionist, Laura, was very pleasant and helpful. The bedding and towels were clean. Good hotel particularly for a night in transit between ferries and trains. The station caf and canteen are good places for breakfast and dinner.

The decor is basic and showing its age.

Checked three times for our wake up call..Fortunately we woke up in time and just managed to catch our 5.50am train to Rome . 24 hour reception was snoring loudly as we left. Not impressed..

I spent 4 nights at Albergo Italia. The location is very convenient right across from the train station. My room was cleaned every day.

The night light was not working.

Cotton bedding which was clean. Plenty of towels and toiletries. The staff were polite and friendly.

The area. The noise from other rooms. The smell in the ensuite bathroom.

It was so clean. And great that it was 24hr check-in. Reception was helpful.

Location is superb, literally opposite the train station. Walking into the centre of Ancona to see the cathedral and other sights takes about 30 minutes or so. There is a supermarket 5 minutes away as well, and a tasty kebab place next door.I managed to leave my wallet in my room, and the hotel staff were superb in finding it, and helping me get it to a friend who lives near. I can't thank them enough, their service was brilliant.

Rooms are a little basic, but my single room was bigger than expected.

The worst hotel I have stayed,normally I hate complaining,but very unprofessional we booked from 02-03 off June arriving from London by car send a message that we will be arriving about 03:30 in morning,nobody unswerving,and then they charge me and my family of five extra tax and extra one day we had to live the hotel (hostel) by 11:00 they said this our rules,forget about breakfast included and sooo onn

Right opposite the train station. Clean sheets and towels

No reliable WiFi, totally useless, trouble paying due to useless WiFi. Really hot in the room, beds really hard, toilet didn't fill properly. Bad smell in the room.

It was spotless clean, I got an extra towel, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room had a bit of a neglected feel, the shower door was broken and there was a crack in the plastic toilet seat.

Location across from train station good for us - would not be good for someone wanting to see Ancona.

Receptionist hi talked on phone, head down, for at least 10 minutes before acknowledging we were standing in front of him waiting to check in. No hair dryer. Very thin towels. Everything pretty depressing.

The room was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend!
