New looking even though 14 years old. Very well maintained to look new. Friendly staff. Great breakfast

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Ego Hotel in Ancona. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, the breakfast was excellent, and the room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

The structure is very well furnished clean & orderly. And the most i really appreciated is the wellness zone?❤️

Contrary to what they advertise, the hotel is not child-friendly. We paid for the spa and were unable to use it because they do not accept people under 18 in the area, including the pool. There was no notice about this on booking.com or in the reservation. The hotel staff had no interest in solving the situation or even mitigating the damage. Terrible location. The hotel restaurant was closed all the time.

The breakfast is very good and the personnel are very nice and proffesional. Room is very clean, shower is comfortable.

The view from our room was to the grey concrete wall, very weak air conditioning during the night, location was not very convenient. The view from the room was very disappointing, but closed curtains solved the problem. The worst thing was an air conditioning, which was very weak at nights and it was very hot and almost impossible to sleep.

We chose this hotel as a point for visiting le Marche. We did very well. Very nice room for family. Excelllent beds. Very clean amd comfy sheets. Very friendly staff. We are happy with the choice we made. Excellent breakfast.

Mr Francesco was cool and professional. Breakfast was nice, a lot of dishes to choose from. Close to city center by bus.

Dust in the room, should be more clean.

Disappointing

Deceptive online information. You will end up paying more at the facility. The fee charged on booking.com is different from the one from the hotel.You might spent another 100 euros or more at the hotel.

This hotel is very modern and fairly new, so the interior including the room Les are fresh looking and clean . I’m sorry I didn’t have the time to visit the spa, it looked really nice on the photos.

The only downside for us was that the hotel is far from the center of Ancona, but that said its very close to the beaches and all the restaurants.

Bathroom facilities are great

We stayed in a room facing Adriatic Sea (which I paid more for) arrived around 3pm to a room temp of at least 38 (outside was 30)Air conditioning not working had to call reception ..who then put it on (waste of time as it was not strong enough to cool room down)open window and got carried away by the mozzies…very poor customer service by Francesco …totally not interested!

The hotel its self was quality. It was not obvious the beach/sea wasn’t accessible without a long walk. I never made it to the water! It was my expectation to have access to the beach area! A car would made a difference.

The hotel and staff are all very accommodating. It was very clean and the spa was amazing.

Our toilet wouldn’t flush and despite having them come and check it, it remained out of order during the two nights we were there

From the moment we walked into Ego Hotel we instantly felt welcome. The front of house took our bags and offered us coffee and a seat while they sorted our room (we had arrived pre check in) Our room was absolutely stunning, from the electric blinds to the very comfortable (huge) bed. The fridge was stocked with water and a bottle of prosecco was waiting in an ice bucket (it was my birthday the day we checked in) the staff were on hand for anything we needed. Breakfast the next morning was fabulous!! Plenty of fresh fruit and choices of everything to eat. We stayed for 3 nights and can't fault the hotel for anything.

No kettle in the room, but with such a good choice of coffee from the hotel bar it wasn't too much of an issue.The hotel restaurant isn't open on a Friday or Saturday but Oggis restaurant is literally round the corner from the hotel with a fabulous choice of local food. Definitely reserve a table for a Friday & Saturday night though.

The hotel is very modern and spotlessly clean.Very convenient for the ferry port, but not for sightseeing/walking.

The air conditioning wasn’t working. We had to keep the windows open during our stay.
