Hotel Della Rosa

I was looking for a spot close to the train station to rest after a long day of traveling. Hotel Della Rosa got the bill. Felt safe. Space was clean. Great bathroom. Slept great. Was able to store my luggage before my next train. Thank you

The hotel rooms were clean, the staff was also good!

When entering the room there was a very strange smell, but that was the only one inconvenience, everything else was great

Train station and bus stops within few yards from the hotel. Good variety for breakfast - including eggs and bacon but no veggies. Comfortable bed and pillows. Elevator. Enough space in the bathroom, toilet with bidet. 24h reception, staff speaks good English. Tried suggested restaurant - Gino about 50 yards away - good food. Ethnic grocery store nearby - were able to get water and fruits. If you are planning to visit the area by train or bus it is very convenient. Ancona airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. As a single female traveler, I was fine crossing to the station or walking to the bus stop even at night. But…

It is quite busy area but after dark it (the plaza) becomes a place where a lot of young and older men from different cultures congregate. Walking to the nearby restaurant I encountered men smoking and gathering in front, but once inside I was fine. I felt safe but just a bit uneasy.

Pleasant staff, opportunity to store baggage, a lift to the room, great shower, comfortable bed and a good breakfast directly opposite the station - everything I needed for a night in Ancona after a ferry trip!I highly recommend this hotel!

Positioning, close to the train station, close to the center. Very friendly staff, very good breakfast!

The beds are a bit small. I'm not complaining, I was just making an observation!

Brekfast was good, nice selection. Location was good because it's near the train station and we could travel to the places near Ancona easily. Towels changed and room cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis.

Sometimes hot water was out and we couldn't get a shower after midnight.

Convenient for the airport shuttle bus. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

There was a horrible smell when we got into the room. It was a definite drain smell, which persisted all night.

There’s no sign of ‘do not disturb’ ‘please clean’ in our room. Maybe it was just us. The cleaning ladies were doing their job and knocked before, but it would be nice to implement it as they opened the door way too fast before I could answer

good location for rail travellers, right opposite the station. Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet. Good choice of restaurants nearby, 25 minute walk or 5 stops on the frequent bus service to the city centre

Construction noise, hammering from the neighbors building from 10am until 7:15 pm, no other room was offered.

I was allowed to check in early, a great plus! The staff mostly spoke a bit of English, which was very helpful and they were also helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy - simple but everything you needed was there. The breakfast was okay.

The breakfast could have had a bit more fresh fruit, or other options (it was mostly a lot of different cakes).

The staff is amazing, the rooms are spotlessly clean and they service the room everyday, breakfast bar is good as well. This hotel is in a great location if you are staying overnight as a stop on a train, as its directly across from the station and the port is a taxi ride away. We were in town to explore and go to a antique market, the market showed it was 200 meters away, it was actually in the city center, which is a 20 minute walk away with many areas with out usable sidewalks. If you are in Ancona to sightsee this hotel is a little remote, however it is a great value and very comfortable place to stay and the staff was great including the room attendants. Plus they sell parking passes for 3 euros a day that let you park in any blue striped parking areas in the city.

Early check out was not convenient because we stayed one night at your property after long journey from Switzerland for stop over on our way to Rotonda and reached around 5.30 in the evening for check-in, but next day check out was 10 am, it was very stressful to wake up early ,, couldn't rest as we expected,, because to have Early breakfast and ready for check out by 10am? Please consider regarding this @least 11am check out would be greatful ? thanks highly appreciated,,best regards
