Unfortunately not being able to sit outdoors for dinner

I stayed at Grand Hotel Forlì as an overnight stop after a concert at the Imola Autodrome, and it was a great choice. The staff were very kind and helpful, making the check-in and overall stay smooth and pleasant.Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of both sweet and savory options. The prices are in line with the area, though they do tend to increase around major events at the Autodrome — something to keep in mind. I booked through Booking.com and had no issues paying with an American Express credit card.Another plus: dogs are welcome with no hassle and just a small extra fee of €10.Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you’re attending an event in Imola and looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay nearby.

Easy to reach, clean, great and helpful and very kind staff on reception and breakfast!

A shame the shades cannot close fully during night so the outdoor light in front of the hotel gets in and can be a problem to fall asleep with

Its a clean facility and has good parking. The rooms are roomy and fairly modern.

I had problems with the main light not staying on. I reported it to the concierge and at the end of my 5 days stay was still not working. This made it difficult to do work.

I’ve stayed here a few times, it’s a great hotel with wonderful staff who are very helpful. The location is good and facilities are very good.

The best thing about our stay was the concierge. Carlotta was super helpful even from before our arrival, helping us find taxis and ensuring our room requests were met, and Federica was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. Super friendly and helpful, always smiling and making sure we have everything we need, including all the information we asked for - she was absolutely fantastic!The pool was also clean and well kept, which is for sure a plus. For those who arrive by car, there is also plenty of parking.

Unfortunately, the list of issues is longer than the good things we found at Grand Hotel. First of all, the room was very dirty (all the walls were stained and dirty, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned & disinfected). Secondly, the room felt as though it lacked personality, which for a four-star hotel, is unacceptable. The location of the building was also a huge issue, as there are barely any taxis in Forlì and they are extremely expensive, and busses don’t reach the hotel. Also, arriving by foot is impossible, as there is no road for pedestrians.Another horrible situation for us was the breakfast: the lady working the bar on the breakfast shift was extremely unfriendly and unpleasant, constantly seeming bothered by even our mere presence there, and completely unwilling to serve us. It seemed as though she wanted to do anything but her job, and her overall attitude was extremely rude and off-putting. Also, the plates on the buffet were dirty! - see pictures below. This is completely unacceptable for a four-star hotel, and just added to the negatives we encountered during our stay. Honestly, such a pity that the concierge girls do their best to accommodate guests, and the rest of the staff don’t do their jobs properly. Wish I could’ve rated this place higher, but unfortunately was very very disappointed with our stay at Grand Hotel Forlì.

I was not happy about the service, for example no second key of the room, cleaning of the room, presence of the inset in the room, position of the bed ( i asked double room not three bed). The unique satisfied point was the restaurant and the breakfast.

Extremely dated rooms with pillows from the 80's. On the rock to feather scale, this was very close to rock.Part of the room are falling apart. "Queen bed" put together from two single beds separated during the night so I woke up on the ground between frames. After investigation, on thin sheet kept two beds together.Buttons in the room which doesn't do anything.Questionable fire system status (missing buttons for reporting fire)For some reason, cleaning duty was OK with leaving finger plaster on the mirror around TV.And, on the day of my leave, I was not able to get to the room because whole room electric circuity collapsed, so I was packing in the dark.

Staff at the reception desk was extremely helpful. We arrived to early and they let us leave our luggage in the hotel while we were visiting Forli. We were also leaving the hotel early in the morning and they prepared breakfast out of restaurant opening hours which was very nice and unexpected.

Spacious, clean modern facilities. Ample parking. Quite, very quite.

The odd morose staff making coffee

I asked for a quiet room and we go it. Room had a great size and the bathroom was also very big. Breakfast had a lot of food and different drinks, even allowed you to do yourself an healthy shake. Free parking on the front

swimming pool was still closed. We arrived late at night and tired from our trip and the key card didn't work to turn on the lights. I asked for a replacement and I had to wait for the receptionist to come and check that I was right, then go the the reception and come back again, when we wanted to put our small kid to bed asap.

Free parking. Spacious room, comfortable bed, quiet, good breakfast, swinming pool. Good price for value.

Check-out at 10.30. Hotel was not full; I asked for an extension until noon and had to pay 10 euro. Other hotels have always extended up until 1 pm upon availability without asking for extra.
