Hôtel Dents de Veisivi

Clean, comfortable, welcoming and friendly staff. We had to start hiking early and the staff made special arrangements for us to have breakfast early. Loved the room in the attic! Hot tub/bath was a great perk!

The location and the room were good.

When the resturant is not open, as was the date I arrived, there is no reception office to let you in. It was a real problem to find a stuff member or contact number. When, finally someone show up, after filling check in papers he just went away.

Very charming small-town / family business vibe. The hotel and our room were a lovely mix of renovated/new and historical/old. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant was great.

I would advise ski-travelers to bring a rental car. It can be done by bus (we did it with no major issues), but you’ve got to be very mindful of the bus schedule (the local station is serviced once an hour or less depending on time of day).

The room was true to the pictures - very comfy and warm. Staff were very accommodating and provided an exceptional service. The location was close to the bus stop. The food was great and reasonably priced. Full breakfast offering.

Wished there was a kettle in the room, but I also didn't ask if this was an option so this is partly on me.

- the rooms were huge and nice.- the breakfast amazing with a lot of choices- the staff very polite and they even let us keep the dog without paying a fee. - Dinner in the evening was delicious.- We were 4 couples and in the evening we spent time in the "living room" playing games.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was gorgeous with a balcony and the bar was really nice downstairs. We had an evening meal here and the food was great.

Room had a nice big balcony and the early check-in time was very much appreciated! We were so grateful to be able to pay for laundry service here during our Haute Route hike.

Breakfast was not included, staff were helpful but a bit gruff, and the whole hotel looked nicer in the photos than in person. This was one of our least favourite accommodations during our 16 night stay in Switzerland.

The staff were very helpful as we had to stay an extra night due to the weather and they were very helpful arranging an early breakfast

Only a small thing- the coffee machine in the morning was not working well

The hotel is absolutely adorable with cute comfortable rooms. The restaurant serves delicious food and the staff is really nice. We stayed over New Year’s and we enjoyed our stay very much.

I don’t think the breakfast was really worth the money but there are no other options to eat, only if you go to the super market (which is very close - 200 m from the hotel).

This hotel was well located in the centre of town with easy access to the Postbus. We stayed here as part of a hot route hike. The owner was very kind and the food in the restaurant also was good.

The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Food was excellent, and it was well located in the middle of Les Hauderes.

The room was pleasant and clean and the beds were comfortable. The room had nice windows and light and a nice deck. The staff was friendly and pleasant.

The room was up four flights of very narrow stairs which made carrying our luggage up difficult. It was very noisy from the room above us and that room turned on a light on their deck which lighted up our room like it was daylight when we were trying to sleep.

The friendliness and the welcome of lady. The look of the old hotel , rather cosy. The room was very clean!

I did not like the sentence in the room, where they charge you 10chf per half hour you stay longer than 10 am when leaving ! Never ever seen this before! The shampoo bottles have been empty which can happen but when we told them in the evening they have not been changed. Lamp did not work either , watch out if you are rather tall you can hurt yourself with the ceiling by the bath. It s not a queen nor king bed but two beds put together. The probably owner and chef did not come and greet us nor offer a coffee for the uncomfort we experienced. Very narrow and steep staircases ( 3 level to get to top, mind if you got heavy luggage ) but understandable for a very old building which has his charme though.

Conveniently located along the Walker’s High Route trail. Room was comfortable.

Waiting staff at lunch was poor. Breakfast buffet was inadequate. There was mold in jelly, yogurt was past due, and orange juice maker functioned poorly.

I highly recommend staying at Hôtel Dents de Veisivi. The rooms were lovely - particularly liked the porch, and the staff were wonderful. Thank you!!

Lovely quaint hotel. Great location and beautiful village. Fabulous fresh bread in the square. Our room was fantastic, big and a great balcony. Highly recommend!
