    Pros +

    • The room was satisfactory, the breakfast very good and the staff extremely helpful. This was a practical, sensible hotel where everything worked well. The receptionist in particular was very helpful and provided me with an extra pillow. We stayed there because it was relatively close to the train station (Montpellier Sud de France) and although a taxi was needed to get there, this was fine.
    • Parking onsite. Quite an easy exit from the motorway even if it lacks night lights on the way near the hotel and with the heavy rain was a tough drive (but not the hotel fault) Completely new room, all I needed: comfortable bed, clean, kettle, tv, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was very good with nice local products.
    • The reception staff were super friendly as always. I always find the reception staff at Campanile to be genuinely friendly. The room was great as always and the large bed was really comfortable. Secure gated parking as a real bonus.

    Cons -

    • Way to expensive for the quality. Projects different expectations on the photos than in realty.
    • Everything was fine.
    • It looks like a motel and security wise, alone as a woman on a ground floor by a big window, didn't feel massively safe at night. But I had neighbours and it was ok with the curtains shuts. The receptionist at check in was not the nicest person ever. Morning receptionist from Beziers was very nice on the contrary (shout out to her) and it wasn't an easy shift with all the rain and leaks going on. Location is a bit creepy: feels like being in a shopping centre with all the fast food restaurants and shops.

There seemed to be some refrigeration generator which was quite loud and came on randomly. It was in a neighbouring business to be fair so it wasn’t something Campanile could about it but it was audible in the room I was in Rm1

Near to autoroute, easy parking closed at night.

Food in restaurant, mini portion for price, and basically microwave junk food (quiche). Breakfast lacking compared to other Campaniles (I have stayed more than 700 night in Campaniles, mainly NL). Rooms and bathroom average.

Very nice staff. Great breakfast. Good location.

We got room with bedsheets of previous clients: I guess it was intentional as pillows were clean - just bedsheets. We were proposed room nearby - bed linen was ok but... the smell of mold was terrible... We decided to stay as it was late (and I am not expecting miracles in budget hotel...) but I marked this hotel in my notes to make sure I will never back there. Very disappointing :/ mayby it was bad luck or coincidence but I realle recommend to avoid this hotel location.

The location makes it easy to get around, whether by car to nearby towns or by public transportation to the city center. The area is quiet, with a supermarket conveniently located just across the street. The staff is attentive and responsive. The bedding is comfortable, although the sheets felt a bit rough. Breakfast is well-presented and quite complete, though one morning eggs were unavailable. Overall, this place offers many advantages, and I would definitely return.

Arrived late, staff member was extremely helpful, good night's sleep for early start

Building work at the moment and generator outside kept coming on during the night

It was perfect for me and my dog the door gave onto a little garden. The property is being renovated but it wasn’t any inconvenience. Lots of fast food restaurants around and a big supermarket opposite comfortable bed warm room everything good.

great location, amazing staff and great food

The shower in our room was broken and the plug in the sink didn't stop the water from going down the plug hole.

    OK ,could have been better

Breakfast not a lot of choice, tray in room very sparse not enough for 2 people

    No A/C

It was written in the description that there was air condition in the room but they only activate the summer month. When complain the answer from hotel was to open the window.

The staff was kind and thoughtful ! It’s calm and next to a lot of restaurants and stores .

    The carpet is old !!!

It was convenient, cheap, clean andvthe staff were really friendly.

Although it's cheap, the rooms ate pretty soulless, there is nothing on the walls.

The staff. Excellent reception. Friendly, helpful

Compared to many other Campaniles in Holland, Belgium, France this one was poor Too expensive for such worn-down accomodation, "petit déjeuner gourmand" is a joke. Go to Breda in Holland. They have a great breakfast. And there was no hairdryer. The paintwork was shabby. The room stank of marijuana from the guy next door ... yes it came through the door. The bedding was spotlessly clean. The evening meal was OK, but the French fries were burnt! The staff were great.

    2ElisendaPosted on: 1-24-2024

    We are not going back

It felt like a youth hostel not a 3 stars hotel, the beds are really small and the bunk beds very loud!! The bed sheets were not clean… Room very cold, there was not baby bed as asked and we still had to make the bed of the kids although they knew we where coming Very desapointed.

Friendly staff. Clean room with kettle. Grocery and food close by

    10CarolaPosted on: 7-3-2023

Private car parking (secure) open, nice cosy room, friendly staff and top buffet breakfast.

    8CheriePosted on: 10-19-2022

convenient to get a nights sleep

room was very hot and couldn’t cool it down and even though the hotel takes pets, they aren’t allowed in the restaurant.
