Citadines Antigone Montpellier

We liked the location and the value. We had nicely sized rooms and amenities for the price.

We didn't like that it was an "aparhotel" meaning it doesn't have the same level of service you'd expect from a hotel. We had to pay extra for cleaning, fresh linens, and breakfast.

Cleanliness and convenience in the city

The room was quite different from the advertisement, it did not compare well to Citadines Lyon, and was hard to keep cool in the heat

price for value, good rooms good bed and kitchen well equiped!

The hotel rooms are quite old and not maintained, the floor is sticky and the rooms are just very dirty or unpleasent. Definitely not as coay as jn the pictures

great location, near a shopping center, lots of simple restaurants, and the opera house. We especiallly appreciated the coffee machine in the lobby, which was available to all guest, mot just those who paird for breakfast.

not the hotels' fault, but the underground parking was difficulyt ti manuever around in, without scratching our renatal car,. But at least it was free

The tram out front made the location very convenient for visiting the city. I liked having the kitchenette and a bathtub. The air conditioning worked well and my room was clean and quiet. Good WiFi in my room. Overall I had a good stay.

The room does have a tired look so if decor is very important to you, this might not be your first choice. I found the lighting was not bright enough to easily read in bed, although the lights did work. I wished there was a full length mirror.

The Staff were very nice and helpful. The location was great. I loved the free coffee.

The property was very clean and I would stay there again if back in Montpellier. The one thing I don’t understand is that the small lobby was well maintained and looked new. But the first floor we were on needed restoration in the hallways to the woodwork, needs painting and the hall rug needs cleaning. Our studio was the lowest cost type. It needed repairs to the woodwork in the closet and bathroom. I know there were more expensive rooms you could rent but why not do simple maintenance and upkeep in all the rooms. That never makes sense to me.

We didn't do the breakfast, so cannot comment on that. The staff were very pleasant. First night there I got bit by something in 3 places, they transferred us to another room for the night, did a thorough room cleaning and we went back the next day due to full booking. Didn't get anymore bug bites. We had access to water cooler to fill our water bottles. We were there during the heat wave and this was a bonus!

Parking! The spaces are very tight.

The size of the apartment was nice and roomy. The cooking facilities and utensils were great.

The common areas needed a bit of attention in the cleaning department.

Breakfast, property requires some improvement

Centrally located with helpful staff. The rooms were well sized and the air conditioning worked well. Also Montpelier is a beautiful city.

Furniture was a little dated.

The location was great. It was nice having parking available at the hotel. The size of the room was nice. The bed was clean and comfortable.

The room needs work. The walls are patched. The floors were dirty...we kept washing our feet. The couch was uncomfortable with the metal from the bed showing at the back of couch. There was a small hole in the bedroom wall. I felt that the pictures didn't reflect the ware of the room. There are planter boxes filled with weeds at the back of the hotel...it wouldn't take much to make those look nice.

Staff tried to give me a room without AC and say there was no other room.when Iwanted to check out they switched my room

Dirty and smells like cigarettes and chlorine. One small uncomfortable pillow, and bad mattress.

This is in a perfect location, between the old city and the river, and on the tram line. It's really nice to have a small apartment and some extra room. Over the road is a small market, so it's easy to pick up a few basic food items.

Nothing really

The location is easily walkable to the centre. The room was spacious. The staff were very friendly. Good value for money.

The smell of smoke occasionally seemed to come from the inside to the room, and the shower head sprayed water sideways. For light sleepers, the sound of the tram immediately to the front of the building might disturb. (I slept, however, quite well.)

The area was amazing close to everything great staff the room was decent
