    Pros +

    • In a classic old building right in the center of everything. Only needed a taxi to and from airport Staff was awesome helping us make restaurant reservations. Overall great. Would stay here again for sure.
    • Helpful staff. Great location.
    • The hotel felt like it was family run, the staff very warm and friendly and we were charmed by the view of the cathedral out our window, by the wooden shutters and beautiful wooden door to the closet, the veranda of the breakfast room. The location was perfect, very central and the hotel was quiet. We recommend it and will return!

    Cons -

    • Very tired furnishings. Currently being updated.
    • The breakfast, was good, but comprised only of cold foods. The option of a hot cooked breakfast, perhaps some sausages and bacon would have been nice.
    • - not having a parking

We were alloctaed Room 100 which has access to a private garden. This was particularly useful as we had our dog with us for this visit.

The breakfast, was good, but comprised only of cold foods. The option of a hot cooked breakfast, perhaps some sausages and bacon would have been nice.

    - rooms were very clean and large- hospitality of the hosts that were also helpful when we asked about the parking; they directed us to the parking with a discount from their part- very nice place to eat breakfast - close to the City Center

    - not having a parking

Hotel is in walking zone so not possible to park there, but they work with a nearby parking garage and offer a really good price.I had an issue with the parking, and the hotel helped clear that up very well. Very good staff.

The location was brilliant. The view from our room was amazing

The breakfast was a bit ordinary for the price. We’ve paid the same with a larger range of both hot and cold.

Location- close to everythingInterior was very homely Bonus was the bathParking garage 2 mins away and subsidized by the hotel

Carpet a bit old and worn so looked dirty but more stained

I like this hotel very much. Its older but comfortable and the location is perfect. Easy walk to many resteraunts, station and historic sites. Fantastic.

If you like a super modern hotel this is probably not for you. Its well worn but everything works. Great make up service and helpful reception. Very comfortable beds.

The hotel is tucked away up a side street and has rather an unusual layout, but it's in an excellent location for sightseeing. The room was fine for a short stay and we could see and hear the church from our room. There's an amazing bakery just up the street!

There's no onsite parking, so you have to park in a public car park a short distance away and pay for parking.

The suite with the private garden in the annex was very charming. The location, while on a small quiet street, was steps from the Place de la Canourgue, St. Pierre, lively cafes, restaurants, and shops. Loved the overall atmosphere of where the hotel is situated.

The amenities were quite spare. Some basics such as slippers and toothbrush/toothpaste would have been great if they were made available upon request.

    Well located

    Old rooms, beds

    10SilvanaPosted on: 10-6-2025

Great location and value for money, it has an old charm and fits great with the city. The beds were comfortable, the view was nice and we had a comfortable stay.

Nothing to add, it was overall great value for money.

Great location, brilliant boulanger just next store. Tram 2 mins away. Our room had a fab window that opened completely and it was so so quiet.....except for the church bells every hour!!

Very little not to like. The bells next door went every 15 mins from 8am to 9pm but you kinda get used to them!!

    7CarolPosted on: 9-27-2025

Size of room and bed both spacious

The carpet, especially in the hallways, was very old and dirty. Please replace it!Reception area was a bit pokey.

We liked everything: the room was cozy, the breakfast great, the position very central.

    7LenaPosted on: 9-15-2025

Great location in the historic centre meant everything was just a walk away. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice view from the room. Hotel fulfilled our request for twin beds and a nice view.

Overall the rooms and common parts are very much in need of updating. Some parts, like the carpets, are really quite shabby. Also the breakfast requires booking the night before, which precludes spontaneity - as a result we never tried the breakfast, preferring to go out to a nearby café . Other potential niggle is the random church bell ringing nearby which could wake you up in the morning or disturb an afternoon nap - we didn't mind, but others might.

    Location

Unpleasant smell in room. Carpet was in poor condition. Toilet and bathroom fittings were dated and stained. Presented more as a hostsl than a 4 star hotel.

    7PaulPosted on: 9-5-2025

The room was clean and serviced each day I stayed. The staff were nice enough. The location is okay. There was a bathtub. Comfy bed. The area wasn't loud, so sleep wasn't interrupted.

This is on both the hotel and booking.com, but I ended up paying more than on the website. When I see the price on booking, that's the price I want to pay. This hotel does not allow you to pay up front, you have to pay on check-out. This way, they can add the city and room tax, etc on. The screen when I was booking said that ALL taxes including city etc were included. Why can't this hotel just let you pay BEFORE arrival? The carpet on the stairs is very worn, I think it's time to invest in a new one.The breakfast seemed pricey so I didn't try it.

There was a great restaurant and a place for a good and pleasant breakfast close by. Comfortable bed. The view from the room was great.

Dirty, old and dark. unhelpful staff.I took an upgraded room as it was a special occasion, the air- conditioning dripped all the time, the floor was soaked. Everything was old and unpleasant. The bathroom and toilet smelled .If this was an upgrade, heaven knows what the cheaper room was like.It was not a good experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
