    Pros +

    • Great location, good value, helpful staff. This spacious room with a little balcony was perfect for 2 nights in Montpellier. A 5 min walk from the train station, close to an excellent bakery and a 7 min walk to the beautiful museums and shopping.
    • Central location was perfect. The room and setup were great. The adjoining cafe was excellent for breakfast. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.
    • The room is very stylish and highly Instagrammable, making it a nice option for a romantic one-night stay, and the breakfast was genuinely lovely, even if it was surprising to be charged extra to have it brought to the room. The place was also very quiet, and the online team was responsive and helpful throughout the stay, despite everything being handled remotely with no on-site reception.

    Cons -

    • The biggest disappointment was discovering after booking, once the access details were sent, that this is not really a hotel: no reception, no elevator, and irregular access, with a misleading claim of being above a “famous” café. While the pictures look attractive, the reality falls short of hotel standards with poor maintenance, questionable cleanliness (dust under the bed, soap dispensers covered in limescale and grease), and basic security and safety concerns. That said, it can still work as a cute, romantic, one-night escape with lower hospitality expectations, as the room is undeniably very Instagrammable.
    • While booking the room we were shown photos of the room with the big balcony ( the room that we booked had particular photos of the balcony, for which we chose it) with chairs and table outside, when in reality we were given a room with a « balcony of half foot width », no balcony actuallyWhen showing the photo they just said it was the faulf of booking app.
    • The online / remote reception allowed a straightforward check but we encountered problems with the door code later so we needed to call the online reception to get it fixed which took some time. Having a face to face reception might have resolved the problem sooner.

Good value and close to city centre and transport links.Attractive decor.Clean and comfortable.

Patio outside and the 24h service, laundry done in less than a day

Missing a table in the room and wardrobe or at least a place where to hang the coats.

It was a roomy and actually had a bath (which I didn’t use as I was only overnighting there en route to Spain.

I wasn’t entirely sure what a boutique hotel entailed so I didn’t use the website provided properly. So I had to phone up reception to get in. They were very helpful but not being on the premises was not easy for me. I would have preferred someone at a desk on location.

Comfortable bed, nicely designed place staff were wonderful and helpful.

The room had nothing but a bed, no where to sit in the room, and the caffe downstairs was still not opened so if you come for work you actually have no where to sit to work for even five minutes. Very inconvenient .

Would come back, but in a room without the straw.

The straw decoration above the bed does not really work with a person that is allergic......

    It looked gorgeous

The temperature was boiling The water wasn’t hot The room lacked dressing gowns and mini bar

I loved how easy it was to check in etc great contact with property. The room was so lovely really comfy bed. Really Clean. Decor great. Good big bath. Great that there was an iron and ironing board to.

We liked everything - lovely large bedrooms. Beautifully decorated. Lovely facilities in the bedroom.

    9AndrewPosted on: 1-27-2025

Very well designed rooms, loved the skylight windows

No lock on the door, and booking options were a bit confusing “standard room, economy room” etc not clear what the differences are

    6EricPosted on: 1-25-2025

Good Location and nice room. Super showers and great beds.

Didn’t know it was with code and no reception. They are making a coffee shop which will make it much better.

    9PhilippaPosted on: 1-17-2025

Very clean new and French style

    10PaulaPosted on: 12-26-2024

Gorgeous comfortable rooms with the most comfortable beds. Spacious and clean. Was great to have a bath and a courtyard. Wonderful friendly staff who were very helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This hotel is situated a very short walk from the center of the city. Along with the excellent public transport nearby this place is at the perfect quiet area to suit all needs. The room is massive, amenities available also to you are incredible.I genuinely don't have a bad word for this place. The staff were so kind also.

    7LauraPosted on: 10-30-2024

It’s a nice room with a comfy bed, close to a train station and the old town. Complementary water and snacks was nice

It’s very hard to find because there is no signage outside, so don’t look for a hotel in that sense. Also the coffee machine didn’t work :(

    1EwanPosted on: 10-17-2024

there was an awful smell when we went to check in. couldn't stay so we went somewhere else.

    8KathPosted on: 10-16-2024

Nice room and convenient to train station

There were no staff on premise, instructions to apartments unclear. Would have been helpful to know when booking that separate emails with instructions were being sent.
