Courtyard by Marriott Montpellier

I really liked the cleanliness of the hotel and the comfortable room. The staff were always friendly and helpful, which made my stay feel easy and pleasant. The location was also very convenient, close to everything I needed. Overall, I enjoyed the calm atmosphere and the quality of the services.

I would have liked if they replaced the water bottles every time the room was cleaned.

Comfortable bed and big bathroom

The service at the restaurant and breakfast. Being told where to sit when restaurant is less than 50% full. Waiter going to another table halfway through a conversation. Waiting to take order while waiter chatting about private life with other clients.

Extremely helpful staff. Great location very close to a number of tram lines which bring you into city centre in 10/15 mins. Hotel in quiet location but close to many good restaurants and cafes. Room very comfortable

Nothing really

The property was fair. Considering the status of the city, looking dangerous and shady and dirty, i would expect that the hotel covers parking. Leaving a packed car in the street is clearly not safe.

The city and the surroundings looked like a 3rd world country. I felt like i wasn’t in Europe. The property was fair for the money.

Courtyard by Marriott Montpellier is a nice hotel with fairly large rooms that are very comfortable and within standard for this class of hotel. The hotel has a lovely pool and pool area which I very much enjoyed. The staff is kind and professional.

Concierge service. Friendly and approachable staff. Superb pool in size, accessibility, clean. Breakfast was magnifique. Location...close to tram

We could have used a working fridge in our room.

Incredible hotel, in a very quiet area.The rooms are big and very clean.The gym is small, but well equipped and the breakfast was very nice, a lot of fresh fruits.Amazing swimming pool, very clean and with an easy access.

Staff were very helpful on suggestions for dinners.

Having to pay extra for an omelette when I had breakfast included.

The pool and staff are nice. The wifi and the sound on the television didn't work.

I had a double twin room on the first floor, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. This hotel did not meet my comfort level for Marriott. Their amenities, cleanliness, and location were the only pluses.

The spring beds were heavily dented and not comfortable.

Bad

Two times there was a write-off of money for accommodation. The accommodation was paid for during the check-in. They were written off again two days later.

Lovely setting. Comfortable rooms. Convenient transport. All at a very reasonable price. What's not to like?

The staff on the desk were excellent. The trainee lady excellent. Very professional. Room was fantastic although would have preferred a bath. Breakfast was decent. Perfect for me. Location good. Also it was quiet - this is so important in new build hotels…. Sound insulation.

Parking - you can’t drive in you have to stop on the lay-by and check in before parking. Also 16€a night is very expensive.

The room

1. There was an event and the hotel closed the restaurant to give full access to their event. Guests weee expected to go and find somewhere else to eat.One option was room service … but there was only only chair in the room so you couldn’t even eat at a table. It was also absolutely pouring down with rain. The receptionist was really rude and unhelpful. He offered me an umbrella to go out to find a restaurant!When I complained

Large clean ground floor room near to the pool.The room was changed on arrival by helpful front office as we had bicycles.Food in the restaurant was good and quick efficient service.

Nice modern hotel, located next to the new town hall. While it may not be so centrally located when compared to others it is very well connected by the city wide tram network.

The cleaning team didn’t come back after knocking at 10am, being refused entry and after asking reception for their service. I little disappointing.

Big hotel with great range of facilities in calm clean and quiet part of the city. 1 min from the tram station to get any place. Inside parking, very tasty breakfast with salmon and huge variety of high quality products. Easy check in / out, friendly staff.I’m
