    Pros +

    • The room had everything I needed. The location was great, not in the noisy central areas but a short pleasant walk from them. The staff was fantastic.
    • Excellent location, decent price, fine comfort. A fine place to stay overnight before a meeting downtown or at university.
    • The Hotel Acapulco exceeded my expectations. The hotel is somewhat older, but for me that is a positive as this added atmosphere and character for a unique stay. The rooms are large and I was fortunate to enjoy a view of the garden from my balcony. The location is great, near the university quarter and a short walk from the cathedral. The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to be sure my needs were met. Breakfast was very good and well worth the money.

    Cons -

    • There was no elevator so the room was pretty far up the stairs. This was a little difficult with my bags but overall everything was great.
    • Latest arrival time 8 PM and a procedure for a later arrival (not tested): not a problem but always a bit of a concern. Staff was waiting longer than needed and more than helpful to accommodate for a close-to-late arrival.
    • Everything was very fine.

Good location, good price and friendly staff. Location is good for the money about 10-15 minutes walk from the center with good bus and tram connections. Room was clean

A bit tired but for the price and location i think its very reasonable

Warm and welcoming staff. Location close to the tramway. Possibility to leave luggage safely.

    No lift.

The pleasant and helpful hostess clued us in to a nearby stadium and adjacent bus stop. It's an older but well-maintained hotel in a residential neighborhood, a bit out of the center but an easy walk from nearly everything.

With a second floor room and heavy luggage, an elevator would have been welcome.

The location was perfect to explore Montpelier, just a 15 minute walk to the centre. The Tram was only a five minute walk. The hotel is very rustic with a lot of charm. The breakfast was very basic but good quality.

There are no lifts so having to carry luggage up two flights of steep stairs was a challenge. The rooms could do with being updated. It was 3euro for a small bottle of water. There was no drink making facilities in the room, the nearest cafe was an 8 minute walk.

A great location and interesting building with good service.

I liked view from the window of the room - to the bambooserie. Good quality croissant and baguette as breakfast. The place was silent and calm.

In the room in the kitchen there was nothing, there wasn't even a glass for water or a plate. Because of the greenery there is plenty of mosquitos and it's impossible to open the window, during the night AC has to be on in the room. The breakfast was very expensive - 8€, for a croissant, piece of baguette, butter, jam and drinks.

Large Villa with lush vegetation. Manor atmosphere. Quiet street. Close to the center of Montpellier. Tram nearby. Friendly staff. Close to my friend’s flat.

    Not being on the beach.

Hotel Acapulco was with in walking distance of the city centre with tram line 2,minute walk away. Beautiful and quiet

The host was welcoming and helped me find a room to avoid stairs. The location and style is French traditional which suits me. Breakfast was minimal but acceptable. The hotel is convenient to the Philippines stop on Tram Line 4 from the rail station. Buy a 24 hour tram pass for around 4€.

The hotel building is beautiful, unpretentious, and unspoiled, in a fine part of town near the Jardin des Plantes. Features Include fine tiled floors, cast iron radiators. The room was high ceilinged. Two single beds with simple covers. The bathroom was old fashioned and very clean. I set off at 6.30 am so I didn't try the breakfast.

Very good location, not very far from the old town (which is gorgeous). Friendly and helpful staff. Nice, comfortable room which was a good size. Breakfast is available. Lovely old building.

    7AmyPosted on: 8-28-2023

Good location, walkable to the old town. Pretty garden and good size rooms

Decoration and facilities are a bit dated so it doesn’t always look clean though it probably is. Mosquitoes from the garden enter easily into the ground floor rooms

Personnel was very friendly and helpful

There's no sound isolation whatsoever in the room. Our room was at the ground floor and it was opening to a common terrace which was very nice. What was not nice are the neighbours from the room next to ours who were extremely noisy and disrespectful - came home around 4.30 am and started to talk loudly on the terrace and switched on the music also loud. Unfortunately, some people don't have respect to others and there's nobody from the hotel staff to call to fix this problem.

The location was great and the room was nice. Overall, it's the best hotel to stay cause' it's perfect for resting after a long day of sightseeing as it is a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still reachable by public transport to and from the attractions ?????

The wifi was also good, but sometimes unstable. It's okay since you can still stream the internet after a few minutes disconnected. Overall, the internet was fine ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The receptionist was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We arrived late so she figured out a way for us to enter the hotel without any obstacle. There was air conditioning that helped during the warm nights in Montpellier. The bed was comfortable enough for our 2-night-stay. It was not that far from the old town part, 10 mins by foot.

It was not that well equipped, but you can manage and i really think if we were in need of something (like a hairdryer or extra pillow) the lovely receptionist would help us with that.
