    • As usual, the only negative thing one could say about Teach Jacks is, it is always sad to have to leave it. But knowing you will return makes this bearable.

The breakfast here is exceptional as ever. The food in the bar is also excellent. I would recommend that you book a table as Teach Jacks is an important social hub for the entire multigenerational community who come here to dine and socialize. The staff are wonderful and all of them together, even when under pressure, form as well oiled machine. Amazing crew.

As usual, the only negative thing one could say about Teach Jacks is, it is always sad to have to leave it. But knowing you will return makes this bearable.

Nothing fancy, but a hidden gem in the most beautiful area you can imagine.Staff, extra friendly and the food is top drawer!

The rooms are slightly dated,The shower had poor pressure, but this is not a negative.Very clean

The staff are wonderful. We found they pay attention to the needs of guests and are pro active and accommodating. We were very impressed with the thoughtfulness and friendliness.

The only issue is the rooms were too warm. Could do with a temperature control regulator

This is the second time I have stayed here and I have always had a pleasant experience, the staff are so friendly. Our evening meal and breakfast was absolutely beautiful, everything is reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend a stay and we will be back again.

Always a lovely atmosphere. Drinks and dinner at the fire. Staff very friendly. Slept well even through the storm. Nice big room.

The shower head wouldn't stay up. No shower cap.

Friendly staff, great food and location.

    8RobertPosted on: 10-15-2024

Excellent value evening meal. Well cooked and presented. Breakfast was freshly cooked and piping hot.

Even though we were on the second floor there was music noise from the bar which meant sleep was disturbed in the early part of the night.

    8CeemgeePosted on: 10-14-2024

Bed was comfy. Breakfast was great, with lots of choice and very well cooked. Good parking outside and across the road. Nice bar with good food.

Fantastic location, lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for you. we had a room with four beds although they’re only two of us so plenty of room. We even managed to go to the traditional Irish dance which is on every Tuesday. Highly recommended.

    Everything was great.

    10PatrickPosted on: 9-10-2024

The warm welcome. Excellent food and great staff

Location good. Comfy beds. Lovely bar area and outside seating. Quality of bar meal in the evening was very good-served by friendly staff. Standard breakfast—no complaints.

Experience spoiled by loud raucous activity by people spilling out of the bar area when the music was finished(our room was at the front directly above the bar). Was at its worst from 2.00-2.30am! Totally unacceptable when guests are paying to get a nights sleep!!! ?

    9JosephPosted on: 9-5-2024

Cleanliness; on-site bar with quality food and service; great breakfast!

Low water pressure in shower - but this was a minor concern overall as room and bathroom spacious and spotless.
