Great place on the Trakai lake

We were there 2 years ago, and we got much better roomsIt's very unclear during the booking what rooms to expect

Good location

Very poor, we stay in room 3, shower was filthy, booked the first time I used it and flooded bathroom.

The location is fantastic with lakeside views but the whole place is very dated. There weren't any radiators in the room and when we ran the water it stank of egg. The staff were really friendly though and gave local recommendations and even messaged me to say we'd forgotten a wallet.

If only there had been breakfast and warmer water in the bath. If only the floor was warmer. If only the contacts worked so that I could plug in electrical appliances.

The lake, the trees, the nature, the castle on the opposite bank make this place beautiful.

The hotel rooms need serious renovation, otherwise it can't have four stars and it's impolite to invite guests. The reality is different from the photos you see on booking.com. The furniture in the rooms looks old, some chairs are dangerous to sit on, the condition of some bathrooms is really bad (apartment no. 5). From a practical point of view, it's easy to fix, but it seems that no one cares. If you plan to stay here, take water with you. The running water smells, you can't drink it even after boiling it, and it irritates sensitive skin when you take a shower. There is a cooler in the room, but the bottle is empty. Maybe it makes sense to stay in this place if you are 20 years old and you came there with friends for one night to spend it in a jacuzzi under the stars, or you have nostalgia for the Soviet times of the 80s, when everything around looked like this hotel. I am sorry to write this message, but the goal is to help improve the condition of the hotel in this wonderful place.

Everything except the lake view and in-the middle of forest placing. Should be closed when out of season. I assume when in season and more than couple of days staying - should be ok, but for 2 nights out-of season business stay- it is a tragedy... 15 degs in room, heater on demand, no way to eat nothing (even within couple of kilometers circle), mouse poops on the desk, desk was big but... no chair, water was stinking whole Mendeleyev table (i assume reason was: no other users than me used to water replace in the tubes) - i afraided to take a bath, toothbrushed with bottled water only (yes, it is on demand in corridor outside room). I was booked 2 nights, left after one... It was 2 times when ive booked this plase: first and last.

There were no plastic bags for the garbage. The tap water in the bathroom smells bad. The bathroom needs to be ventilated due to the musty smell. The electrical sockets for the kettle and microwave weren't working, so we had to turn off the TV and fridge to have breakfast.

Amazing place to stay and enjoy your weekend. Very comfy rooms with everything you might need. The beaches are amazing, well equipped, with marvellous views and clear water. There are tables and grill places all around, so you have a verity to choose from. Also you can use fully equipped kitchen. The place is constantly improving and there is always something new each time we come. We've been here several times this summer and plan to come more next.

Location is amazing. Family loved being very close to the beach. First day we arrived it was nearly impossible to park due to the amount of people but managed to get a space later once the locals went home. Family room is great size and comfortable. All things we didn't like aside, we had a fantastic stay. The restaurant was very nice and a great view to the beach and the kids play area. Will be back next year for longer.

There are some upgrades to be done I would imagine. We spent 4 nights and had no place to put clothes. A cupboard would be nice. There shower door was impossible at times as it kept coming off the rail. Could do with a lick of paint and fixing the coat hangers.

No small table aside bed - so you have to lay down eyclasses directly on the floor, pure choice on TV, the plugs located in very strande and inconvenient places, relatibly late check in time (3PM); no breakfast offered. On Sunday very crowded parking. WiFi accesss not secured even if quite stable.

Room facilities and around are very dated,but location just perfect,restaurant could do with more authentic Lithuanian food like cepelinai and kibinai.

Location is great

Floor was very very dirty. It smelled terribly from the bathroom sink. The windows had no curtains to block the light at night.

Calm, great facilities, cosy room, lake and bbq were great. Staff on site able to help 24/7.

Everything was great, but as it is surrounded by nature some insects are inevitable, so just don’t be surprised.

The location is soooo nice! They have a private beach where we could go swimming and also a restaurant on site. We had an entire big house to us (2 apartments) and felt very nice and private.

There was no coffee machine even thought it's stated there was one.

Amazing place! We have stayed at the main house, which is right in front of the beach. It has such a beautiful interior and stairs to the beach, that it feels like staying in a medieval manor. Clean rooms and spacious facilities with everything you might need for your stay. Very green and cozy territory, marvellous view on Trakai Castle and lake. Much, much recommend!

Staff was super friendly, suggested to choose between a few free rooms. The view to the lake, just fascinating.Comfortable bed and the apartment itself.Tasty coffee.The birds songs :)

Tap water taste, but hopefully during the busy season it gets better :) The balcony might need some renovation, but the view is amazing so it didn't bother at all

This property is old and nostalgic! I loved the antique vibe that it puts out. There was an electric fireplace in the room that gave a real nice feel to the room. The views out the window of the lake and trees were wonderful.

There was nothing to complain about.
