Hotel Rua Salamanca

Staff was really nice. Great location. Comfortable. Good value for the price.

Location

The elevators didn’t work during our entire stay. And we were on the higher floor with our 85 year old mother. We also were stuck in the elevator once. It seemed like this is a regular occurrence as it was never fixed during our stay.

The breakfast was superb. Location was fabulous right next to Plaza Major. Room in perfect condition and the staff was extremely helpful.

Nice old building in a GREAT location in old Salamanca, where it was busy yet the room was quiet. Patricia was incredibly helpful in recommending restaurants and other things. Bed was comfy, shower had nice hot water with plenty of pressure. While the room wasn't particularly updated, it was very clean. Breakfast was generous and mostly good, with lots of choices (though the eggs were consistently cold). We stayed 3 nights and would absolutely stay again.

Great location, trade off is some street noise from several restaurants. Lovely and helpful staff throughout our stay.

Perfect location in Salamanca, the staff were stand out in their welcome, the facilities were very clean, a little dated in decor but very comfortable and the breakfast was beautiful with eggs cooked to order perfectly.

Parking garage is a small distance away so would recommend dropping off bags first- hotel was excellent in their communication to facilitate this.

This is perfectly located in Salamanca. Super close to plaza mayor and el catedral! All of the staff working at the hotel were very friendly and made our stay that much better

Perfect location; lovely room; and helpful, kind staff.

The staff was the best part of the stay at the hotel. The young man went out of his way to make us feel at home. It was really like a second home. He did a great job and will stay there again in the future

staff communication between each other seemed problematic -we extended our stay but the person at the desk was not updated and told us adamantly that we did not not have a room to lengthen our stay etc, we had already paid but she was unaware of this and we had been booked in for 3 further nights-tricky-this was eventually resolved thankfully.noisy at weekends until early hours-3am, we had 2 different rooms the noise was not a problem in the first room as we were further away from the main road.

A good pace to stay just in the heart of Salamanca. Rooms are well done, quiet, and very clean.

The bathtub only

This accommodation is totally fantastic. On arrival, following a really bad day, the four nation European blackout, we were welcomed with open arms. Awesome helpful hits on sightseeing and restaurants. The staff could not have done more for us. Our room was beautiful and we woke every morning with a view of church bell towers and snow covered mountains. The location is unbeatable, close to everything you want to be a part of. I could not recommend this accommodation highly enough.

Wonderful small hotel near the Plaza Mayor, University and Cathedral with many bars and restaurants just outside. Parking is secure and easy to find with GPS. Great breakfast and very hospitable staff- you can’t miss!

Central, clean

The parking , although secure was misleading in that it was a walk from the hotel. We booked late on booking.com which can sometimes be misleading .. I expected secure parking ( for my vintage car) and thought breakfast was included too.. we arrived in town around 7.30, just wanted to get parked , washed and out to dinner… took way too long to find parking and then hotel, and then to have to deal with a (very pleasant but) pedantic receptionist that insisted on giving us every direction possible on the city, the hotel and the room…!I just wanted to be done.
