Hotel Rector is definitely a stay to remember. Even though it was just for one night, it was a quite memorable one. We truly felt welcomed during our stay. The level of attention to details and the care shown was exceptionable. Not to mention the hotel’s fantastic location, it was such a breather to stay at a place where everywhere is just a walking distance. Felt like staying at the royal palace. Would love to go back again.

Beautifully decorated, rooms extremely comfortable, service is impeccable. Front desk is extremely accomodating. Breakfast was amazing and wait staff fantastic. Felt like staying in a very elegant home. Location is perfect for visiting the old city sites. Hotel is immaculately clean. Every night turn down service is beautiful. Would definitely stay hereno again.

This is a truly exceptional experience. Impeccable service. For example, while we checked in car was parked and bags were put in our room. Fabulous breakfast and quaint bar when we got back from dinner. Amazing hospitality.

Breakfast was excellent and staff very accommodating. We stayed in family room which had 2 bedrooms and each with en suite bath. Beds were comfortable and the amenities were outstanding - we especially enjoyed the nightly snacks, often homemade which were delicious.

Not much - it was all pretty fantastic there. It would be hard to find anything wrong as the staff and hotel were excellent - we travel extensively and this was one of the best hotels we have enjoyed in our travels.

Family run warmth. Breakfast. They pampered us with gifts and goodies every night that we stayed there. Decently equipped gym with new equipment and a very safe parking for our cars.

One of the most wonderful places we stayed was Hotel Rector in Salamanca. Absolute best hospitality! We had the luxurious suite with the largest bed I’ve ever seen, marble bathroom w/double sinks and separate bath and shower, and living room. Before we could get out of the car, Ignacio was there to swoop us inside, and put the car in their garage. In our room, there was a nice bottle of chilled cava in a champagne bucket and snacks waiting for us. Each day, the staff gave us gifts and edible treats. The gave a lovely parting gift, snacks, and water when we checked out. The breakfast service was old world wonderful. The only con was they didn’t have a restaurant. But, I recall reading that they could prepare small things for you to eat in your room or in the breakfast room. We should have done that because we found it difficult to find good fits for dinner in Salamanca. We hadn’t yet adjusted to the late Spanish dining time. Salamanca a stunning city and very easy to access from the hotel.

Service was exceptional. I had left a pair of shoes in Madrid and the owner/manager was able to have them shipped to the hotel overnight, by one of his family members. They did all types of little perks with personalized messages in our room, turn-down service with special treats and gifts, and were super helpful with all aspects of our stay.

A homely and sophisticated oasis in just minutes on foot from the historic centre of Salamanca. Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Everything a high-end boutique hotel should be.

Given the price of the room, they could have included parking.

Best customer service I have ever experienced in lots of years of traveling! Staff was very knowledgeable, and they provided everything that we desired--and more. The hotel is beautiful and in a very nice, quiet part of the fantastic city of Salamanca. I can't say enough about EVERY aspect of our short stay! We will be back next time we visit! Thanks Hotel Rector for a memorable visit to Salamanca and Spain!

Little things that made us feel very valued, such as cava and snacks in the room when arrived, small gifts, going away package that included water and snacks. Very thoughtful

What an exceptional hotel! One of the nicest and friendliest places we’ve ever stayed. Such kind, attentive and generous staff at the front desk! :) Beautiful facilities. A gorgeous gym. Lovely breakfast room with a delicious assortment of foods and a charming cook. :) Very cozy and inviting lobby. Our room was beautiful and very quiet.

The mattress on the bed seemed to sag somewhat; might be time for replacement.

The staff were simply fantastic! The room was very well appointed and had a loverly comfortable bed. The location was great not too far to the centre of town and also the parking was easy to find and totally secure. The level of service and quality of food at breakfast could easily of been from one of the larger branded and far more expensive hotels.

They were very friendly and welcoming when I arrived. The room was ready with snacks and water plus a very personal handwritten note from the manager. Their breakfast buffet was spectacular! They help me booked transportation to Madrid. A big plus in the cooler months you control your room's air conditioning which is hard to find.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at the Hotel Rector. The staff was so incredibly nice and the hotel is beautiful. We loved the quiet nature of the hotel and the elegance it offered. We are definitely coming back in the future!
