Hotel Banguriani

Restaurant food was great. Stayed in Mestia for 3 days and for most part of trip (hiking and day trip to Ushguli), we ate at the restaurant. Fresh food they cook on the spot and they are fast. Staff are lovely and very accommodating. Room is spacious. We got upgraded from deluxe double to a family room. Views are amazing 24/7. Clean place and you can tell it is well maintained. Common areas are also clean and nice to lounge at. I visited a week before peak summer season (9-13 June) began and it was perfect as I do not like crowds. Even though it was just me and my husband checked in, they kept all facilities open.

None—it was a great stay and I look forward to staying in the winter; it’d definitely be a different vibe.

Cleanliness and the bed is so old that it makes noise everytime you move. Time to change the mattressThe pinpoint location given is incorrect. Nonetheless the hotel is on top of a hill and the name is big enough to locate

Beautiful view on Mestia and the mountains from the room terrace, very kind and helpful staff, delicious foods in the restaurant. Recommend it when visit Mestia again, I’ll definitely book here again.

The hotel and the service was totally amazing. We met one of the finest manager avto and the best chef in georgia. The food served was 10/10 snd also the service. Overall the experience was totally good❣️

Exceptionally enjoyable stay - tasty freshly cooked breakfast with particularly delicious bread, clean rooms with everything needed, magnificent view of the mountains and Mestia. Staff deserves special mention - extremely friendly and helpful, standing ready to help, meet any request you'd have, and make your stay unforgettable.

It's a comfortable hotel with a spectacular view of the mountains and svan towers. Room was big, clean and warm. I enjoyed staying there.

The view from the hotel room was incredible. Our host Avto was very friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast was absolutely delicious and had so many options to choose from.

We stayed 3 nights there and we were the only guests there, they never clean the room Food there not good at all and there was no WifiHot water taking very long time to come and the room was freezing cold

In the first place there were MICE in my room!!! And few hours later I found one of them in my bed!!! When I go to the reception nobody was there. I just spent night in my car. It’s 4-stars hotel? Really? Should I mention cold breakfast, no coffee machine, no heating in the room in September (that was cold actually!!!)? No, experience with mice just worst part of my vacations and I just leave this comment for next visitors.

No Aircondition or fan inside the room. Very hot in summer. Net covering for windows recommended

Great location, rooms were comfortable, the staff were very cooperative, anything we needed we received (extra towels, heat on, laundry service etc…). Food fits adults and kids as well (local food and pizza/pasta as well)

The only thing that was missing is a fabric shower curtain… all the rest is perfect

We had a pleasant stay at the Hotel Banguriani. The view from the room was outstanding, and the owner was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again next time when I visit Mestia.

I liked everything! An exceptionally peaceful location only 5min drive from city centre, a view from my balcony to die for and the staff made me feel extremely welcome! Everyone I have interacted with (Lasha, Ada, Julia) welcomed me and made me feel like a family member. I had issues using UK bank cards to top up Georgian sim on the Georgian app, Lasha topped it up for me and refused to take money for it . He said "a gift from the hotel". I ordered lunch, I got desert on the house. I was the only guest that night between 2 big group bookings and they made bbq just for me. I asked where can I buy Svaneti salt and in minutes I got a few packets "a gift from the hotel"...In the morning the home made breakfast that awaited me could have easily fed an entire family. Julia and Ada sat with me during the breakfast and we had such an enjoyable conversation. I was made to take some food for the road. We exchanged numbers and I already know that I will be back, next time - for longer. I had such a welcoming and enjoyable stay, the hospitality of this family had no limits. Thank you so much for everything!!!

Staff service and location was awesome. Food really tasted well. Better food in my whole Georgian trip. Location was beautiful.

Beds were little uncomfortable. May be due to springs. Rest all good.

The view was breathtaking, the staff was delightful and considerate. In my opinion it was the best time to see the most beautiful period of the autumn. If you want something close to the center, it's not it. We like to walk and explore and it was perfect for us. It's about 20+ min walking. The owner is very sweet. Thank you Nadari!

Wifi wasn't working.

Good location on the top of the hill with panoramic view to the Mestia and surrounding mountains. Good breakfast (yogurt is super tasty!). Cools views from the restaurant. Big family rooms.

When we arrived there was no heating in our room. The stuff said they will fix it but after few hours nothing happened. I had to go back and forth to the reception during the whole evening to push stuff and somehow resolve the issue. It was around +10 and quite cold inside the room. Finally around 10pm they gave us portable heaters and said that there is a general problem with the heating system in this house and they can’t fix it.The house with family rooms doesn’t have panoramic views (only to the backyard). There is a quite dangerous stairs in the house. The shower has a common space with a toilet (no water frames). It’s quite dark in the room.

We stayed for three nights and were quite pleased with our experience overall. The location was particularly impressive, offering stunning views of the mountains and Svanetia from the balcony. It's worth mentioning that having a car is recommended for easier access. The breakfasts were delicious, and we appreciated the tranquil atmosphere.

Our room felt a bit outdated, and despite requesting a knife and an iron, we ended up fetching them ourselves. We also noticed that there was only one set of shower gels and two tea bags for a three-day stay, which seemed insufficient. Additionally, the room lacked mugs, utensils, and glasses, which would have been a welcomed addition. The bed was soft but extremely creaky, which made for a less comfortable sleep experience.

Its nothing like in the picture. The Family room is old with tiny bathroom, so small that its hard to take a shower. No windows in the parents room. Any guesthouse we stayed in GA had better rooms and was much much cheaper.

comfortable place near the centre, pleasant stuff, prepare a wine evening for us in the first day, there was check in earlier that check in time without questions, wonderful view from the room
