It was super inexpensive and really easy to get too.
The bathroom had been more recently remodeled and I liked the countertops and the mirror with the light. It was also nice to have breakfast in the morning. The woman who checked me in was really sweet. The hotel had been remodeled in the last 10 years.
It was easy to get to. Nice views. Close to the businesses we wanted. Quiet. The staff was very friendly and did a good job.

Family room available! It's hard to find a hotel that can fit our large family. We often have to get 2 rooms. This family room was great for us.

The staff was wonderful
The modern design - the lights in the bathroom, the cleanliness, the hot tub, the blue by the elevator, the two people working very hard to keep the breakfast area clean, the food hot, and the breakfast food stocked.

Brand new, really nice and functional room. We loved that the desk was on rollers and we could move it around the room as needed. My husband was able to use the "library" to work and get on some business calls.

Top Tips
- Book your lodging 3 to 4 months in advance for ski season. Hotel rates at Brian Head typically increase 30% to 50% between December and March compared to off-peak periods, reflecting limited room inventory in winter. Top brands support advance booking with early cancellation windows; verify policies before you commit.
- Expect total taxes of 12% to 15% on your hotel stay. In Utah, combined state and local hotel taxes can add $15 to $20 per night to a $100 room rate. If comparing chains, verify whether quoted rates include all local fees to avoid surprises at check-in.
- Request altitude support tools such as humidifiers or oxygen kits when arriving at Brian Head (9,800 ft elevation), where 20% to 30% of visitors report mild altitude symptoms. Many national hotel brands offer these amenities upon request; inquire at check-in to improve comfort for your first 1-2 days.
- Test in-room Wi-Fi speeds when you arrive, especially for remote work. Brian Head hotels commonly deliver 20-50 Mbps, but winter storms can cause outages 10% to 20% of the time. Ask if your hotel operates backup power or network solutions for better reliability.
- Reserve accessible, step-free rooms as early as possible. About 60% to 70% of Brian Head hotels provide ADA-compliant entry or accessible features, with demand increasing during ski holidays. Confirm availability of step-free access, visual alarms, or ramp entry before booking if you need specific features.
- Check your hotel's distance to ski lifts; many properties in the village area offer walkable access, while those outside usually require a car or shuttle for the slopes. Look for 'ski-in/ski-out' descriptions in listings or ask your hotel about shuttle schedules, as frequency might change outside peak hours.
- Plan for variable winter driving rules on the route to Brian Head. Utah DOT can require chains or winter tires/4WD during or after storms, which may add 30-60 minutes to your trip. Bring required traction gear or confirm your shuttle transfer meets current travel requirements.
- Stock up on essentials in Cedar City, located 27 miles (43 km) or about 35-40 minutes from Brian Head, before heading to the mountain. National hotel brands near Brian Head may have basic supplies, but groceries or specialty prescriptions are best purchased in Cedar City's larger stores and pharmacies.
- Anticipate significant snowfall: Brian Head Resort averages 360 inches (914 cm) each winter, with ski season running November through April. Pack insulated clothing and water-resistant footwear; most hotels offer drying areas or lockers for wet gear.
- Brian Head sits at about 9,800 feet (2,987 meters). Plan quieter activities and increase water intake for your first 24-48 hours to minimize altitude-illness risk. Many top hotels provide filtered water stations and can recommend gentle acclimation walks.
- For busy holiday ski weeks like Thanksgiving, Christmas-New Year, or Presidents' Week, reserve lodging 30 to 90 days in advance to secure rates and availability. Midweek stays often have lower occupancy and prices at major national brands.
