Family run that was obvious by the friendly treatment and caring for our needs.

A bit removed from the train and boat. but not a bad walk.

Breakfast was delicious! Staff was helpful. View was amazing.

A little far from center of town (20 minute by foot). Construction blocking view.

A nice modern hotel with a comfortable room

The staff were in our opinion, not very friendly and didn't make us feel at home. It was a bit isolated from the main town.

Breakfast sitting was not the most pleasant, particularly on first morning. Second day, we were sitted in the bistrot area and this was better.

the view was amazing and bakery shop near location and free parking space, wifi was great.

Breakfast with limited option and same everyday. dining room has no space for everybody so they assign tables by name and even when you come early for a table with good view. with nobody in. you still need to sit at that table.it is far away from the center.

Wonderful location and hostess. Isabelle is amazing and we had a lovely night at this place. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a special and authentic Swiss experience!

Location. Small, Botique hotel located slightly away from the main town. Excellent view of the lake, especially from the higher floors.

Breakfast spread can be slightly better. Considering you host so many non European tourists, the breakfast can be slightly better, no complaints though.

Perfect location and hotel is super nice. Staff was friendly. Breakfast could have had more variety. Over all very good place.

There was no place to heat up food or since the hotel rooms didn’t have a kettle, could have had aCommon room for it to make tea with a microwave maybe ???

The view from the balcony on lake Brienz was amazing. The dinner offers were great as well, even though we only used it one evening. Fixed tables for dinner / breakfast are a nice touch.

The distance from the train station is a bit far and buses from the closest stop are going infrequently.The lunch pack offer is a nice idea, but they mixed up a bit the order (meat sandwich instead of cheese).

Good continental buffet; practical, modern room; adequate parking

Hotel is clean, free parking. Nearby the lake. Good view from balcony.

The pillow was not comfortable. The breakfast would be richer.

The breakfast was wonderful! An assortment of breads, pasteries, yogurts, and fruits were offered each morning, all of which were delicious.

Traditional accommodation, clean, comfortable and good continental breakfast. Fine location for lakes and mountains.

Dated mattress and towels. Kept banging leg on bed. Abrupt reception. Unattractive views from dining room. No ala carte dining so you took what was on offer each day which was an odd approach. We didnt.

A wonderful hotel, with beautiful views, a charming and very helpful staff, excellent breakfasts, and a great restaurant for dinner (when you stay here, you get a big discount on an amazing multi-course gourmet dinner).

It is a bit east of the main part of town, about 10-15 minutes’ walk. We like to walk, but I thought I should mention this.

A good place for a quick stay. Room was clean and spacious enough for 2 people. Helpful staff. Good location, not too far away from some attractions nearby.

The Hotel Brienz is in a lovely location. The rooms are well appointed, with comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, and mountain or lake views. A good breakfast was included.

No doubt the view from the room was great. The room was nice with daily room service. Breakfast was good. We opted for dinner which was very great. It was very fresh and tasty. The walking route from the hotel to the main station was very good along lake brienz.

The transportation from and to the main station was a bit hard since the bus was not frequent enough.
