Ski Lodge Engelberg

Location is exceptional.A few steps from train station. A couple of blocks from ski rentals and Titlis lifts.The room was amazing! Super comfortable and 90 degrees balcony. Great view of the mountains.

I did not disliked. Breakfast was decent. Pretty much the same in the 3 days we stayed there.I just need a bucket of a good cappuccino in the morning and that seemed to be extra.Basic coffee was fine though.Stairs to reach our room. Not suitable for everyone to carry their suitcases 1-2 floors up.

Excellent location, right next to the train station which was very helpful for my 72 year old mother. Lovely breakfast. The staff were super friendly and helpful and even helped to store my diabetic mother’s insulin in their kitchen fridge - special thanks to Greta who was in touch with me before I even started travelling and helping out with all the questions I’d about the hotel facility and the town itself; Maya who checked out the weather at Mt. Titlis and gave us tips on travel to Mt. Titlis, and Frederic who helped to store the insulin in the hotel fridge late at night. My mom and I very thankful to the staff for making our stay so comfortable and memorable - this hotel is ‘senior citizen friendly’ and can’t recommend it enough.

Everything was perfect!

The location was ideal, the welcome was great. Only spent a night but it was nice and perfect for what we needed.

When you pay this much, you expect to be able to have some nice coffees included as part of your breakfast. There was only filter coffee available and all other types (espresso, macchiatto, cappuccino) are with extra charge.

Extremely friendly and communicative staff.Breakfast has a lot of homemade types of food which are very delicious.

Noise isolation is not great, if you are a light sleeper.

The location was fantastic. It was right across from the street from the train station and looking right at the mountain. Our room faced the train station, but still had a beautiful view of other mountains. The room was decorated so cute! The added touch with our names on the mirror welcoming us was a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and full of little details too.

Not the hotel's fault---we had a small child running back and forth above us (at night and in the morning).

The hotel is very charming and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I also really enjoyed the breakfast!

The property is old and the rooms are somewhat outdated. It was okay for a single night stay, but may not have been comfortable for a longer visit.

Great scene at the Ski Lodge. We loved staying with other skiers and enjoyed the lively vibe after skiing every day. Breakfast was great. Ski room was great. Staff was great. Would love to see this in every ski town!

Pricing for lodging was reasonable but the pricing on the bar/food was much too high so we mostly went elsewhere.

the breakfast was great en diners too. all nice peoplenice view from the sauna and hot tubnice to have parking close by

we had room 83 and might have been nice to have a small closet of cupboard for our clothes

Our room was VERY cold! I have stayed in 3 star hotels again in Switzerland and adequate heating is a given for winter resorts. The offer for bringing in heater or blankets is not a quality or viable solution for winter temperatures. We had to check out earlier form a fully paid and non refundable stay because we could not even take a shower at this cold bathroom…

Excellent location, amenities, and rooms. Wonderful and nice people too. Very reasonable price. Best place I’ve stayed in Switzerland thus far and I visit the Alps year round.

The rooms and hotel are pretty outdated but I guess it's ok for the traditional feel. Very cold rooms, bed uncomfortable, no bedside tables. The lighting in the room was awful, it was a cloudy day and really dark. No mention about the sauna or Jacuzzi from the receptionist (who was lovely though),not that we were gonna use it.
