Helen was amazing! She helped us with everything and gave great advice! Breakfasts were the best we have had.

A little far from town, but not bad

Beautiful location, a 20-25 minute walk to the heart of Engelberg. The owners were very hospitable and friendly and it was a wonderful stay overall.

Helen was such a gracious host. The breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and spacious. The view from my room was fantastic. Location is a quiet part of Engelberg.

The hotel is located outside the main part of town, which means amazing mountain views from the room and patio. It was about a 25 min walk from the train station. There is a free bus that you can take but we walked. I really enjoyed being outside the main part of town. It really gave you the quaint village feel. The included breakfast was delicious! The staff, check-in and out were all great. Would recommend!

A friend had her birthday during the stay and the staff organized a little cake and candle for her. The breakfast was excellent.

Lovely room with balcony - dual aspect view of the valley and mountains. Very good breakfast. Quiet and peaceful. Short walk into Engelberg. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Good area for ski equipment in the hotel. Good location - shuttle bus stopped at the end of the road.

In a beautiful & peaceful location, easy 20min walk from center of Engelberg. Helen is so accommodating and helpful.Stunning views from the hotel. Scramble eggs served at breakfast were a tasty extra. Clean, comfortable and spacious room.

Lovely hotel in the valley. Very welcoming staff that made us fresh scrabbled eggs for breakfast. Room was huge compared to our other hotels and very clean and comfortable. Within walking distance to the centre.

There was nothing we didn’t like but just for information there wasn’t an elevator if you have mobility issues.

Absolutely loved the location, View from the balcony was amazing, and I woke up to Swiss horns and cow bells, magic. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful—excellent value for money.

Paying for parking. I understand paying when you are in a city with limited parking but we were away from town. Plenty of space.

We loved our stay at Garni and enjoyed the breakfast and the host. She was sweet and professional. Rooms were clean and location was great as well.

Only thing I noticed was sometimes I could hear sound from the top room not sure what that was but it’s highly negligible for me.

Super nice place to stay right outside the main town area. Room was perfectly clean and had a great mountain view and was quiet the whole time. Host was very nice and made sure breakfast was fully stocked and even insisted I pack a sandwich for the road since there was so much food left! :) Also covered parking on site was convenient
