don;t even provide hot water for a cup of tea. hotel claim they set up hot water station at each floor hall wayjust a container which hold water, in the container there are insect body floating on the surface

Wonderful breakfast, nice staff, good location, facilities in room great and very clean. Restaurant in house has very good food and not too expensive. We got a nice room.

Because we booked with booking.com we had to pay for the parking extra and we only found out on the last day, that the central parking in Engelberg would have been cheaper.

Beautiful view from the balcony. an upgrade at the time of check in. It’s a very small village. Everything is within walking distance. Train station is opposite the hotel.

Tiny single beds. You turn, you fall. Open type bathroom. No place to hang clothes when taking shower.

The hotel’s location is perfect, right across from the train station, and the free shuttle buses to Titlis depart just in front of it. The breakfast and rooms were excellent and more than sufficient. As a nice gesture, they upgraded our room to one with a balcony. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If I visit Engelberg again, Bellevue-Terminus Hotel will definitely be my only choice!

An open-plan bathroom in a studio room is not the best idea for accommodating the family of 4 people :)

It was in an amazing location with everything that you need including a pharmacy and the train station right next to it

The pillows in the rooms ended up giving me neck pains

Excellent location near the station and also near the buses. Large shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Appreciated the water bottles provided at reception. Great view from our room. Late check out time and long breakfast hours.

Late check-in (4pm - although we were able to check in slightly earlier).Terrible terrible pillows! We needed to ask for double pillows as they were so thin. Even then they were so uncomfortable. Not acceptable for a 4 star hotel. Difficult to control the temperature in the rooms. Large gap in the beds so essentially felt like sleeping in a single bed. No communal area to sit with outside food/drinks. Could only eat a sandwich in our room as was not allowed to sit in the warm lobby area which served food and drinks. No hot water on our first afternoon / evening. Only lukewarm water late at night after being cold for hours. Not ideal after a long day of travel and being outdoors!

The breakfast room and living room is absolutely exceptional cosy. One wants to have breakfast all day. The receptionists were naturally friendly and very helpful.Very practical to have a nice restaurant in the hotel.

The beds are pretty plastic, so that one easily sweats in the night. Natural materials would be preferred. They are washable too these days.

Nothing. Everything was perfect

Room was amazing! Clean and nicely decorated. The view from the room is also great. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful with assisting us with our golf bookings. Breakfast was amazing. Overall a very great stay. Would totally recommend!!

The breakfast spread was really good, they had so many varieties and the taste was equally good. The location is good as well, it was walking distance from the cable car station to the Titlis mountain and it was opposite the train station, we just had to walk out, cross the road and voila we were in this place. Staffs were helpful although there was no one to man the reception after a certain time we messaged them here to ask for extra pillows and it was immediately attended to. The view from this place, I mean we were surrounded by mountains with peaks covered in snow, just stunning.

There were no doors for the bathroom! It was open I mean, there was a sliding door for the shower and toilet area but the bath itself was exposed. So this was the only con and perhaps it could have been cleaner, I mean just in general, it was not so bad though.

The property is pretty cool and the views are just too fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful, it’s a perfect hotel in Switzerland. Very boutique vibes. Loved the coffee machine on our floor

The breakfast for vegetarians could be better. A toaster would be a great addition. And the pillows they definitely need a change,

We loved our stay and wished we could stay longer. Bellevue hotel is right in the centre of Engelberg, just opposite the train station and a few steps from a few restaurants and shops. Despite that, our room was very quiet. Our L room with balcony was tastefully appointed and had a fantastic view of the mountains. Hotel provides multiple parking spaces around. The reception staff were friendly. And breakfast was nice, with sufficient choice.

Both Yucatan restaurant and the bar area were very deserted on Saturday night.

Room size is insufficient if one has a large suitcase..No A/C in the room.

We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights, and while there were some wonderful aspects to our stay, there was one significant issue that left us disappointed.First, the positives: the view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, with beautiful vistas of the mountains and the city, which made for an incredibly enjoyable experience. The room itself was very spacious and nicely decorated, with a cosy living area and a comfortable bed. Parking was also convenient and easy.

However, we were quite shocked by the hotel’s so-called "pet-friendly" policy. When we went down for breakfast, we were told that pets were not allowed in the breakfast area and that we had to leave our pet in the room. This was very disappointing, especially as our pet is extremely well-behaved, and we specifically chose this hotel because it advertised itself as pet-friendly.To make matters worse, there was a sign stating that pets were allowed in the living area after 2pm. This left us wondering—what exactly changes after 2pm that suddenly makes it okay for pets to be there? It didn’t make sense, and we were left feeling like the hotel’s pet policy was more about convenience for the hotel rather than the comfort of guests travelling with pets, considering you are asked to pay 20 CHF per day for your pet.We were told to take a tray and bring breakfast to our room, which really spoiled the experience. Carrying breakfast up and down the lift was inconvenient, and if we wanted anything extra, we had to make multiple trips. We would have preferred to enjoy a peaceful breakfast in the dining area with our pet, as we would in a truly pet-friendly place.Overall, while the views and comfort of the room were fantastic, the hotel’s inconsistent and inconvenient pet policy really soured the experience for us. If you’re travelling with a pet and expect to enjoy all the hotel facilities, this might not be the right place.
