Hotel Hahnenblick

We especially liked the parking at the hotel and the possibility to charge our electric car. The restaurant was excellent with tasty, fresh choiceswith high-quality ingredients and beautiful presentation. The terrace is beautifully decorated with local vegetation and pretty flowers. The staff was eager to welcome us and very attentive.

The bathroom is relatively small.

Super kind and friendly staff, we really felt that they want to make our stay great, really children-friendly place.We ate at the restaurant, food is tasty, they have lunch menu on work days.Klostermatte ski lifts are in comfortable walking distance, cross country ski track is literally a few meters from the hotel. Hotel has a ski room.

My room was facing Hahnen, the views into the valley when the weather was fickle, and on the mountain when it wasn't, were both great. Staff was friendly and helpful, and room was spacious and bright and clean. Was nice to have a balcony, too. Great breakfast - simple, but all nice and fresh and tasty. Only 10 minutes walk from the town center, and perhaps 13 from train station (but there's also a bus option).

The traffic at the street in front of the hotel is a bit noisy during the day, with all the agricultural vehicles - but that's inevitable. Wasn't too bad. At night it's quiet.

Very clean, staff very friendly, would recommend. Restaurant very good as well. High quality food.

The shower head was hanging low for a taller guy and I would prefer a shower cabin instead of a bathtub

It was a good experience. The staff were nice and pleasant and the breakfast was really good. Switzerland is very pricey compared to other destinations but this hotel is decent and affordable. It's easy to get around using the public bus which is FREE and the bus stop is located only a few feet away from the hotel.

There was a strange smell like garbage coming from the facility located to the back of the hotel. But we kept the balcony door closed so it was not an issue.

Breakfast was great. The staff was friendly and gracious. The location was convenient to hiking and the town's amenities. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great view up the valley from the balcony.

We had no hot water. While the staff acknowledged the issue, no effort was made to offer us a discount or rectify the situation.

Good value option, bus that takes you to the main lift is only a few feet away. Parking is extremely convenient. Nice view from the room and balcony.

Really friendly staff, very happy to help and assist with transport etc. We arrived late and they squeezed us in for dinner so we could eat and the food was amazing! Bedroom was spacious and clean and the bed was really comfortable.

Very stuffy in the room even with the window open. There is also a recycling plant behind the hotel so with the window open it was very hard to sleep in as they started sorting bottles quite early in the morning even on the weekend.

Good location on the edge of the village centre, in easy walking distance, across free (seasonal) shuttle bus stop, especially if you have a car because it has own parking. Large room with beautiful view and balcony. Good stuff for breakfast.

The restaurant staff, at breakfast, were very friendly and attentive.

We are traveling all day, and that is why we called the hotel to inform them that we would arrive very late. The receptionist told us that she would leave the keys to the 2 rooms at the reception.We arrived at approximately 10:40 pm but the hotel door was locked. There was not even the slightest possibility to enter and collect the keys from the reception.How does someone leave the room keys at the front desk but lock the front door? or does not give information on how to get to the reception?The problem was very big because I had my baby who was only 8 months old crying loudly because he was tired and needed to sleep in a bed and not in my arms.It took us more than an hour in unsuccessful attempts to find an open door, until a neighbor of the hotel helped us.I am really very disappointed in the person who answered the phone, because we called precisely to avoid problems, to alert the hotel of our arrival time, and to inform that we had a baby.The next day we complained at the hotel reception with a man, but not an apology was given to us, only the phrase, it was a regrettable mistake.What a lack of professionalism, from the receptionist who answered the phone and from the man who did not even apologize.SincerelyFamilia Sticht

Breakfast was OK, not brilliant but this is common in Switzerland. Hotel is comfortable and staff are nice

Its a little far from the ski lift but there are free bus services. View from the room was not very good, overlooking the fire station
