Logis Hotel Beaudon

The location is convenient as it's just down the street from a public parking lot and has plenty of nearby restaurants in walking distance. Views of Chateau de Pierrefonds don't hurt either!

There is no air conditioning and you can't really leave the windows open all day/night as the hotel is near the lake and thus mosquitoes. But if you can bear the heat or go in the cooler months, it's a good fit.

Excellent location very short walk to the Chateau. Very small picturesque town. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Nearby public parking.

Adequate, but barebones bathroom.

Lovely family run hotel in excellent location! Clean and comfortable with exceptional restaurant! Very welcoming host (owner and chef) and so nice they could accomodate a vegetarian diet with a lovely meal! Beautiful view of the castle from our room and lovely town to walk around!

It was exceptional

All lovely, as on many previous annual visits. Rooms exactly as requested, wonderful views. Very good beer, dinner and breakfast.

Nothing - all good

Situated in a beautiful old building, the view of the room is stunning looking at the castle and the lake. The location of the hotel is excellent and the help from the owners exquisite.

As almost always in France, the room was quite small though quite well organised such that you could make the best of it.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. They alerted us to book a table for dinner because it was a holiday and it was going to be full. Perfect location with great view of the chateau. Great restaurant!

No elevator! The rooms are a bit oldish (but still comfortable).

A wonderful central location to this very pretty little town. We had dinner the first night and it was excellent. The staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient.

Beaudon is a small provincial hotel so the bedrooms are fairly small but perfectly comfortable, I think the lack of bathroom toiletries could be looked at.

It doesn’t have a lift - however we’re made aware at time of booking - only street parking but it is free and was plentiful in late September.

My rooms was very tired looking - lugging bags upstairs (I didn't see a lift)

The room was a decent size for 4 of us, across 2 double beds. The location is excellent, next to the lake in Pierrefonds.

The hotel is quite tired, or where it has been renovated it has been done to a low standard - there was unfinished laminate flooring in our room, and the loo holder was hanging off the wall. The lower walls and skirting boards looked tired. It's a shame it's not more suptuous given the excellent location.

In a great location overlooking the lake and castle. You have to park down the road, but that was no issue for us and parking was free. Our room was very clean, with a large comfy bed. There were good continental breakfast choices each day. The staff are absolutely lovely, helpful and cheerful. Lunch and dinner menus had good choices and delish food. We enjoyed it! There was an indicator in the shower to show how much water was used, encouraging guests to conserve water, which was good to see. If we returned to the area, we'd stay again.

The room decor was a little tired, as was the bathroom. It's all perfectly functional but just not as modern as you might see elsewhere. There's no aircon, so if you get hot weather the room will be very hot. Bear in mind you're in a rural french hotel, not a big chain, so manage your expectations! The good things far outweigh the slightly dated decor.

Everything! Location excellent for a stopover or short break; staff extremely helpful, professional and friendly - we were late arriving, but they assured us we'd get a meal, we were late down to breakfast (hadn't put our watches forward!) but they accommodated us regardless; the restaurant menu was varied, imaginative and excellent; the room was large, comfortable and with a superb view of the castle and lake.It was so good we extended our stay and walked in the extensive forest (map provided in local tourist information office).

The view of Castle. The staff were brilliant both in person and beforehand. Excellent communication and quick responses to messages. Really happy with our stay.
