The closeness to the center of town and the fact that it overlooked the sea. The staff was exceptional!

Not enough counter space in the bathroom and room a little small

We liked just about everything at this hotel. The staff was over the top helpful. I think it was the best stay on our 21 day Italy tour.

Couldn't use the refrigerator in the room without paying a 5 Euro daily charge.

The location of the hotel was amazing. The restaurants, the beach, the stores... like boutiques and more. Everything was in the area, even when I needed to go to the bank, it was close. Even the train station... No complaints.

To be honest, I can't really find anything I didn't like. It was my first time in Italy and I am truly glad it was at Miramare Hotel. I will be a returning guest each time.

Location was convenient.

Room was dirty, linens were stained, no blanket or comforter on bed. “King bed” was two small cots pushed together. Outside of the hotel’s control, it is located next to a concert pavilion with loud music until 12am each night.

The guy that was at the reception at night. He was really nice. He tried to accommodate us in a better room that the one they gave us. But at the end he couldn’t.

I talked in advance to Franceso, and told me I was going to have a triple room with a balcony with sea view. I didn’t get that. We got a triple room, with a small window with sea view and a small balcony looking to the city. Although this guy effort finally they said the didn’t care. It was what it was.

Included Breakfast was very poor, not many choices, and there was barely some food left at 9 am.

We stayed for 3 days, perfect hotel, perfect place, perfect service. The food and service in hotel's restaurant is excellent. Highly recommend.

The beds were uncomfortable, the hotel doesn't have any parking, and the parking nearby is very expensive.staff are very friendly and helpful but that is the only thing I can say nice about the place, would not go back.

Right on the promenade this property is very conveniently located. It has great views and is ideal for strolling along the sea front enjoying the sunrises and sunsets or even just experiencing the vibe of Rapallo. There’s a public beach right nearby and 30+ restaurants all around it, including the in-house Miramare restaurant which is very elegant and has great outdoor seating.

The restaurant/bar in the piazza outside started a dance party with music loud enough to keep us awake which went on past midnight on a Sunday night. We had an early Monday morning start so that was a little annoying. Parking is a lucky draw - if you can find a spot, grab it because it gets full on the street and nearby parking lot, and the hotel doesn’t have its own parking or valet service.

I really enjoyed the location, air conditioning was freezing and everyone was very nice! WiFi and cleaning service was so nice too! Great value for everything you need and MORE!

Hard to think of any complaint but a better too blanket for the bed would’ve been cozy??

I booked a Double or Twin Room with Sea View, as shown in the photos here on Booking.com. Upon arrival, I was given Room 102, which was totally different from what was advertised. Instead of a sea view, the room faced a dirty rooftop and lacked a balcony. Although the hotel mentions in a disclaimer here that not all Sea View rooms have a balcony, the pictures provided here are misleading. I’ve attached photos of the actual room for comparison.When I raised this issue with the reception manager, I was told that Room 102 was indeed the one I had booked. Despite the clear discrepancies, the manager explained that the room shown in the photos was located on a higher floor and that the hotel was fully booked, leaving no alternative options. This explanation was unacceptable, considering I paid the same rate as other guests who received the advertised room.Moreover, the room itself was outdated, stained, and far below the standards of a 4-star hotel. The overall condition was more like a 1 or 2-star hotel. Despite previous reviews claiming that the Rooms with Sea View had been recently renovated, our room was nowhere near that standard.If you find yourself in the same situation, specifically with Room 102, I strongly recommend contacting Booking.com Customer Service. It’s important to make them aware that the Miramare Hotel is misleading its customers. They may also be able to assist with compensation. However, my main advice is to avoid this hotel altogether if you don’t want to feel disappointed and scammed.

Hotel was in an excellent location for everything in Rapallo.

For the cost I would have expected a better breakfast to be honest. The offerings were very basic continental. We've had much better in lower star accommodation.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, nice view.

There was no safety box, just one slow elevator. However, these things did not bother us.

The room.was like in the pictures, and it had a very nice balcony with a view of the sea. Very easy to move to different places of interest.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. Very well located. The staff was very kind and professional.

This is NOT a 4-star hotel. This is a 2-star hotel in my opinion. Common areas were not cleaned. Bathroom, room and all equipment were in very bad conditions.

absolutely no noise insulation, we could hear the kids playing in the next room, as well as noises from other floors. the worst thing however was the "shrine" the owner dedicated to current Italian prime minister giorgia meloni, in the lobby of the hotel. total nonsense, never seen a display of political views in an hotel before
