    Pros +

    • The staff was the redeeming factor for sure. At a glance they seemed a bit grumpy but the more we interacted the more depth of character was revealed as some of them have worked there over 40 years.
    • Cheap breakfast, not as described on booking.com
    • Nothing. The pictures are misleading and not true to reality. The place is not by the water and is run down, dirty, poorly maintained and the service is non-existent. We wanted to away from this place but nothing was opened in the area to book and we had children, otherwise we would have rather sleep in the car.

    Cons -

    • There is "free parking" but not enough for all customers. There's free parking overnight on the street if you move your car by 8:00am Also while there was wifi the signal didn't reach inside our room.
    • Staircases, elevators, rooms and the whole hotel is in an overall pretty bad shape. The only area that appears to be in a slightly better shape is the hall/concierge/breakfast area. Not sure about the restaurant as I didn’t go and I’m unsure it is the same as the breakfast area.
    • Everything was wrong with this property. Bloody sheets and walls. Dirty walls, broken toilets, broken door frames. Windows and doors would not close. Lamps broken. The place literally looks like nobody cares. The staff treated you like they were mad at you for asking a question. The front desk lady spent more time smoking outside and chatting with other colleagues than providing service. When we reported the broken door frames, they laughed and sent us to another room that was in worse condition. When my family was ready to go to sleep and found the bloody sheets, the lady took the phone to the kitchen screaming at another person and gave them nee sheets to change themselves!! Disgusting place. I would not even give them one star.

Good price-quality, good breakfast, and AC (although not the most modern, it was working). We managed to find and pay for public parking.

The bed was too soft for me, but it is individual.

The breakfast was good. The location was nice, near the sea. The staff were fine.

Nice breakfast, good location for le grazie. Our room had a huge terrace.

The bed was uncomfortable. There was no hot water in the shower. There was an already opened and used soap bar in our shower.

Friendly staff, they allowed us to park next to the hotel. Delicious breakfast.

Could be a bigger room and bathroom.

Very nice Hotel to stay in Le Grazie. Close to Bus station and very beautiful places nearby. Staff is very friendly and I’d feel very welcomed during my stay.

Great location. Close to bus route and bay area.Balcony

Shower very small. If u are a bigger sized person u struggle to get in/out of shower.Safe lock in cupboard not working. No electric sockets for charging in room. One which is used for tv and one in shower.

The bathroom was probably recently renewed - everything was modern and clean, the shower was luxurious (had massage modes and could even play music).

The room seemed neglected. The bed was randomly wobbling for no apparent reason and there was an old fridge which made a lot of noise, which made sleeping difficult. The room could definitely use a repainting. The faucet in the otherwise perfect bathroom was faulty - when you ran the water on higher pressure, it would start spraying everywhere. The breakfast was Italian style, which means no healthy options except for the fruit (no oatmeal at all!).

Where do I start?! This place was amazing from the wonderful staff who were so receptive, kind and helpful to the great rooms with a great price tag. There was even breakfast provided for a great price. I was traveling for two weeks through Italy and stayed in a different place every day except when we came upon Hotel Gratzie. It was such an amazing place located in a quiet, non-touristy, beautiful part of town. The experience was so good and the location was so good that my girlfriend and I decided to stay another day. Upon arriving at the hotel, the manager already knew my name and immediately told us about some of the best dinner places around, sights to see, and places to visit during our stay. We were checked in within a few minutes, and we had an early check-in which they graciously allowed us. This is the only hotel in Italy that I specifically marked on google maps so that I could return on my next trip. It was one of those places where you somehow know deep down inside that you will be back in the (hopefully near) future. Thank you Hotel Gratzie for your kindness and helpfulness during our stay. You truly run a fantastic business and I hope to see you again soon!

    Literally nothing to complain about.

The location was reasonable for the waterfront and bus. Reception and restaurant were nice.

The rooms are pretty terrible. Very basic and dated, need refurbishment.

Very nice and elegant hotel. Clean, modern and good set up.

    4CélinePosted on: 6-16-2024

The localisation, the staff and the breakfast were good

The hotel is really old, the windows cannot be closed, air conditioning isn’t working, and there isn’t even the right number of light bulbs.

    7ChristopherPosted on: 6-9-2024

Staff were great-- super friendly and helpful. The rooms were priced well, and are a great value for the area. Although they are run-down, the rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, including a refrigerator and powerful AC. Breakfast was excellent and included. Dinner is available at the restaurant within the hotel, but there are also other restaurants nearby if you want to go out. The town itself is a virtually undiscovered gem.

The rooms are quite run-down, including peeling paint and some flooring issues. Nothing that is a problem other than in an aesthetic sense.

Clean little room, quiet, good breakfast

the room (109) had no Wifi reception and could do with some Love, loose towel rack, paint job etc

Well located. Clean. Very comfortable bed. Very good breakfast and coffee the best I had of the three hotels I stayed in.

Basin not fixed to wall, towel rail and toothbrush holder hanging off wall, no headboard and bed sounded like it would collapse every time you moved. Could have done with another plug point. Lift broken, no offer of assistance with my luggage up to the first floor.
