Hotel Della Baia

Beautiful location on the marina, close to Portovenere. We have stayed here before and returned with family during this trip.

Pool area and bathrooms could use a refresh.

We were happy with our stay. The hotel staff is very nice and polite. Restaurant is really good with reasonable prices. Our room had a beautiful view towards the bay.

The room was quite small. Also shower cabin was slightly too small, had to bend down to fit under the shower head.

We loved the town of Porto Venere. Very authentic and quiet; away from the crowds.

It was a little inconvenient as far as seeing the area. It's a cab ride and fairly pricey but again once you are there it's quiet, quaint and authentic.

Beautiful location. Very quiet when we were there in high summer, not many tourists thankfully. The pool was great and the restaurant was excellent.

Beautiful Borgo close to Siena, gives a real Toscan experience.Neat and nicely decorated apartmentDavid is a dedicated and enthusiastic host who makes you stay comfortable provides good tips about the surroundings.

The restaurant and breakfast is really great. Also the people working in restaurant are really friendly and helpfull.

Time for breakfast is only till 9:30. And check out time 10:30.

There were ants in our room, everywhere… Limited parking options.

The breakfast/restaurant staffs were all nice especially the man, he is very welcoming. Also the man (only the man during night shift) from the reception is kind and hospitable.

The ladies during the check-in weren’t welcoming (both of them but especially the younger one with colored and longer hair, and also in the afternoon when we got our luggages she seemed like she didn’t care about the guests) they weren’t mean but they weren’t welcoming at all, something’s off with their vibe, maybe it’s just us but when we arrived and we didn’t feel welcome at all. The breakfast staffs were all kind but I think the food choices could be better.

Staff were very helpful and the location was great.

Rooms a bit old fashioned

The pool area was very nice and the restaurant/breakfast area as well.

I traveled with my daughter and we asked for two twin beds. They were very small and the mattresses weren’t very good.

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Great breakfast. Pool was lovely. Service around the pool could upgrade a little. Would stay again.

Parking was hard to find. The harbour boardwalk was under construction. Locals not so friendly.

The property was super clean, staff were nice. Location is beautiful and peaceful. And the see view was really nice!

only the extra blanket was not washed and i found some hair on it which I decided against using it.

The girl in the reception was very nice and informative. The breakfast was very good with a big variety and great coffee. The service was polite and helpful. The location in front of the marine is beautiful.

The hotel is right in front of reconstruction surrounding most of the marine. The reconstruction work started from early in the morning until evening time, with a lot of noise.Sadly, we were not informed about it prior to our arrival so we didn't know anything about it.We approached the manager who discarded us with no explanation or apology, let alone any compensation for our poor staying. He said that it has been like that for 6 months.

The location is amazing.We were able to upgrade for 2 nights which was way better with an awesome view of the port.

Plug in room did not work for fridge.

It was a beautiful location in a small town on the water. The scenery and people were nice. The rooms were small but most clean. The floor was dirty. The hostess & host were very helpful with her recommendations & the restaurant was very good. I was impressed with the hotel overall. I liked everything but the shower and tile floor in the bathroom. it was small and it could have been a little bit cleaner. The pool was nice. I really liked this hotel overall.

The tile floor in our bathroom wasn't very clean. The shower could have been more clean. The airconditioning wasn't very strong but it was sufficient because it was cooler outside. The room was quite small overall.

The swimming pool

The shower was ridiculously small, with only an overhead spray, and it was impossible to wash properly. The chairs in the dining room looked nice but were absolute agony to sit on for more than 5 minutes. Breakfast was a cheap and lazy attempt, and the industrial work going on outside and around the hotel was depressing.

Staff was amazing. Food was very good. Very cool view of the harbor.

The area is very limited in food choices, the quality of the hotel restaurant makes up for it.
