Hotel Panorama

If you go there do not eat at the hotel - we found a fantastic place called the Masala, a local Indian restaurant, which had the best food for our week on the Costa Brava!

This hotel has very large tour groups. There was no drinking water or tea/coffee in our room. The restaurant staff were very unhelpful about our getting a mug with hot water so we could make our own tea. The breakfast food was cheap and of low quality compared to everywhere else we stayed on Costa Brava. The hotel advertised itself as a spa hotel but nowhere had we seen that we had to pay 50 Euros to use the facilities for 1 hour. Also the pool hours meant that we could not swim in the morning.

Great location, nice pool and nice rooms.

We got rooms on different floors, and very far from one another. The ocean view room was great, the standard room was on low floor and noisy from other rooms and the street noise. We needed clean towels on the last day and were told no :(

Excellent hotel. Lunch and dinner - outstanding! Breakfast could be a bit better (to have more choices of cooked food and fresh veges).

Hotel charges for in room locker. the room was full of dust. They don't even provide water in the room. The shower was dirty, and bed mattress is bad.

The view was impeccable and we couldn't ask for more from that aspect.. the room was big and comfortable.

We chose the hotel for having a spa, but were surprised the jacuzzi was locked behind a cage door (!) and the hotel charges it 5 eur per hour extra, on top of already not being the cheapest stay.The restaurant staff was very friendly, but the food was just not up to par. Very average hotel mass produced food. The bread toaster wasn't working and overall the hotel seems rather worn down with renovation and updating the look and feel, as well as guest care, needed.

Location, very close to beachVery clean, staff very helpful and friendly Day shift manager was exceptionally helpful, as he allowed us to use the shower facilities in the spa after check out so we could make the most of our last day, provided towels for that as well.

Night shift manager - seemed very rude and condescending. It may have been a language barrier, but when every other staff member is very helpful, his behaviour stood out.

Location is excellent and right next to the beach. Buffet meals cater for many types of dishes, room was modern/clean/comfy bed, pool area is really nice.friendly helpful staff.

There's not much not to like. However, tea, coffee making facility in the room Would be nice. Free towel for the pool area would be convenient.

The crew was so helpfull. Since we couldn't have late check out because it was fully booked, we were allowed to use all tje facilities, and have a shower at the spa before we left.The rooms ara comfortable and breakfast is goodVery good location near the beach

It was very centrally located, perfectly placed on the beachfront. Good parking facilities near the hotel.

They gave us a twin sized bedroom - even tho we paid for double bed. They did end up changing that for us gratefully.

The hotel is spacious and pleasingly decorated with plenty of areas to sit and relax in quiet. The breakfast area is easily negotiated and they have a well shaded and pleasing outside dining area.

Sadly at the pool area the toilets weren’t regularly inspected quite disappointing. There seemed evidence of an outside bar however this long seemed closed and the area was used by the diving and kiddies corner. Having no outside bar meant a lot of wet people in and out of the hotel to get drinks, not really a good option.

there are not to much light in the chiki-park. I will love to have the check-out at 12 instead of at 11:30.

The room was in need of maintenance, with cracks in the walls, and a bathroom door that was extremely difficult to open and close. The breakfast buffet was expansive, but lacked variety of healthy choices and fresh juices.

The view from our balcony was fabulous, with the Medes Islands across the water.

The bathroom door is absolutely ridiculous. It is a glass sliding door, with a 4cm gap next to the toilet. So if you get up in the night either the light through the door, the squealing noise of the door sliding, or the noise of your toileting through the gap will wake up everyone in the room. Whoever signed of that design should be fired.

Pool and facilities were brilliant. Children loved it. It was a shame that we only stayed one night before we moved onto our next location.
