Eurostars Gran Hotel La Toja

Hotel is truly “Grand” gorgeous, with an air of old world gentility and calm. The Thermal Club in the spa is two hours of amazing sauna, steam room, ice bath, and pool tome. Hard to describe how unique the fully glassed pool area with water features is. Water jets, water beds, and external high-pressure water jets provide an amazing massage experience.

The location was amazing and our room view was perfect. Loved the balcony and complimentary bottle of champagne.The bed was extremely comfortable and the room size was very good.The pool space and spa areas were lovely and so relaxing. We had a gorgeous meal in the restaurant although was a bit late for us.

Nothing was a problem

Everything was top, very polite and professional staff, great service, nice rooms and views.

It is a beautiful building, with great facilities, and a real 5 star venue.

We could not access Wi-Fi in our room, and despite repeated reports that this was the case, the problem was not resolved and we received no feed back.

Our sea view room was a really silly price. They ammended this and the value for money was reasonable.

Room was not up to cost, small full size bed I a strange location . Shower with tub not good

Staff is super friendly and try to do everything they can, but some rules are not participating at the 5 stars hotel. What was 5 stars in the past 20-30 years, now is just a shadow of that - would say just 2-3 stars. The interior looks great till you get closer - it is very old and just painted to cover all the problems the Hotel has.

Restaurant is terrible, staff is telling that they are fully booked, but I did not see more than 30 % occupation during evening dinner. The menu is terrible and the food is more terrible, have got old langouste salad (it has been in the fridge many days) and raw fish (Hake dish), showed it to the staff, they brought me new one - nearly 40 min when we nearly were ready to go. And it happens in the place the most famous for the oysters, langoustes, fish and etc. After that dinner I had 5 days stomach problems.

Dinner was very good but to be expected for 5*. Not expensive too.

For a 5 star pretty poor. I asked for an early breakfast in my room but only a sandwich and water for breakfast at 7am. The whole hotel was a bit 'dog eared', needs a remake.

It is calm and comfortable, with old charm

The swimming pool was closed in the morning ( I habitually swim before breakfast) and there was no open air breakfast tables

It’s in the middle of the amazing island from la Toja. Also the Forrest is a dream to go jogging in the morning and walk with the kids
