Hotel Royal Victoria, by R Collection Hotels

Clean, beautiful views from balcony suite (definitely recommend paying it), excellent service, great food, relaxing environment; I highly recommend a stay for a couple that is looking for a romantic getaway in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Small thing, but some of the art on the wall was a little creepy in the hotel

The property is absolutely beautiful and right on the water. The staff is welcoming and professional. The breakfast was fabulous! We found our room to be extremely comfortable and had a balcony to look out on the water. We even loved our little fake fireplace, which made the room feel so cozy. Aziz, who works as head bartender, is warm and friendly and made us feel like we were long lost friends. We had dinner at their fancy restaurant and loved every minute of it.

It wasn’t a problem for us, but if you are not a fan of ringing bells, you might consider wearing earplugs at night. The bell tower is very near the hotel. We are used to this kind of thing, and it did not bother us at all.

Location was amazing! Views from the bar and restaurant! Rooms were small but nice and updated and bed was comfortable.

Bathroom was small and lobby really needs a facelift!

Everything. The staff was welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast and happy hour was wonderful. Views from the dining space was breathtaking. Shadiy was a wonderful host.

The hotel was centrally located and easy to walk everywhere. The town Varenna was a good spot.The hotel had a beautiful pool and absolutely perfect views.

Fabulous room with a view and balcony on the water. Swimming in the lake, and the pool. sstroll along the waterfront at night or just sitting on the balcony looking at the moon over the lake

Hotel was great. The view was FABULOUS. Staff was great and very attentive.

Rooms were small and a little warm, but otherwise fine.

Unbelievable property. Perfect location, the staff was wonderful, food was delicious. But the balcony off of our room was the best part. A dream come true. Everything was amazing!

the view from our suite was spectacular. we really had a full view 180 degrees on the lake. the breakfast is worth the money. so many choices from eggs to pastries...spectacular! we could hear an opera concert in the village from our room. So romantic! the pool is very nice and their is access to a public beach a few feet away form the property. You can swim in Lake Como!

Everything about this hotel and our stay there was exceptional! The view was beyond description spectacular. The service from check-in to check-out was above expectation. The staff, especially Martina, Mario, Azziz, and Shady, as well as absolutely everyone, was professional and also caring and friendly. The food and drinks were the best of any hotel in which we have stayed anywhere. Location - best, in my opinion, of anywhere on Lake Como. We loved the size of the village and the size of the hotel versus others nearby. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, inviting, and not stuffy - it's perfect!

There is not a single thing I would complain about!

Loved the location and the staff. The pool and the view from our balcony were also excellent.

The beds in the rooms. We had two twin beds for our honeymoon.

Staff were friendly and helpful, they assisted us with the parking, booking private tour and accommodated us after the check out

The room size is relatively small compared with the price, but the location and the neighbourhood worth it

The location is excellent and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bar & restaurant area is very nice and has clearly had some much needed investment . The rest of the hotel needs to catch up !

The cost of Eur 500 per night for a tiny, dark , pokey room with a minuscule bathroom (which you could only just squeeze into ) , plastic looking headboard & cheap art was atrocious value for money . The management must think we’re stupid .There wasn’t even a proper curtain over the window -just a voile in room 109. It should cost Eur 150 max. They should really knock two bedrooms into one .The hotel is very tired & in need of some much needed investment and some style .Resting on its laurels of history doesn’t cut it . The reception area has horrible old velvet chairs like an old peoples home with ugly old furniture . The terrace walls need painting and the cheap gravel needs upgrading .

Beautiful location. We had a balcony that over looked the lake. We were able to spend a rainy day in the room with beautiful views. Hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to the ferry and train station. Breakfast was top tier. Concierge was extremely helpful with dinning recommendations, reservations and helping us navigate the train. We would definitely stay here again.

It was excellent, breakfast was so delicious and has so many options, and the team were very friendly and so helpful. This is definitely will not be our last time in Hotel Victoria
