Very helpful staff, public areas beautiful

Our room was old, strange set up, I think we were given the worst room in the hotel as when we passed others that were being cleaned they looked much nicer. The toilet was separate and tiny you could barely sit in it and the shower with a massive step up into it was separate and no shower screen, which I guess was important as you wouldn’t have been able to get into it.

There was much too much perfume in the room. I had to open the balcony door, to bring some fresh air inside.

Very nice hotel with beautiful and clean rooms. Staff is really nice and helpful! Very good breakfasts in french style. Private parking is a nice addition.Close to port and beach, sensible distance to other locations in the city. Market place with fresh seafood is 1 min away! I strongly recommend this place.

Good location for easy access into town and seafront. Great Wednesday street market. Appreciated being able to park car behind hotel and didn’t mind paying for peace of mind.

A large comfortable room with helpful staff and one of the best breakfasts I've had in France . Very pleasant dining room and communal areas.

Beware of the parking bays at the front of the hotel. They say 'parking for 30 minutes' but I got a ticket after 10!!!

The Hotel was perfectly situated in the town. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel charming and a little bit quirky in an attractive way. A very pleasurable stay, I would have happily stayed longer if time had permitted.

Location was perfect. Quirky boutique style hotel - full of character - spacious accommodation and very comfortable. Staff were lovely, very friendly and extremely helpful.

In need of some refurbishment and updating. Bathroom was spacious but rather awkward to get in and out of bath/shower.

The hotel was very well appointed, with nice decor. My room was large and very comfortable with very comfy beds and a lovely rain forest shower (although the water took a while to get hot). It also had flat-screen TV, desk, comfy armchair and a security safe. The bathroom was in another room via an opening from the bedroom.

The staff were lovely, the breakfast was great, the car park was perfect for our car which has a roof box on top of it…..secure and spacious. Our room was a very good size which was good as we had our dog with us.

Bathroom smelled a bit damp but the room and bathroom were spotless.

A characterful hotel in a good location for everything in Pornichet

The costs are quite high, especially when you add parking and a supplement for a dog

The staff are helpful, kind and friendly- went above and beyond!The bar is well stocked, and the charcuterie and cheese boards are delicious!The huge jacuzzi and sauna area is a wonderful value add.The rooms are lovely and cleaned daily- superb! There are gorgeous little shops, patisseries, market and more within a few meters. Beach is less than 5 minute walk. Spent 10 days at the hotel and will definitely be back!

The hotel is very nice and the staff was super friendly.

I couldn’t sleep during the night because of the noise. Everytime a guest opened the door to their room I would wake up. The shower also started working out of nowhere (probably when someone else was using it). On top of this, the bathroom wasn’t really separated from the bedroom in the sense that you could hear everything when someone else was in the loo (which is never nice). Overall, it’s a nice hotel (setting and interior design) but we unfortunately won’t come back.

The bedroom we stayed in was well overdue for a make-over and in our opinion was well below the standard we expect from a 4 star hotel. We wonder how carefully the hotel Inspectors visit and really check the hotels before awarding such a high rating. We have stayed at many French hotels with many less stars which were much better appointed.
