The view

Nice property, classic 60's building, nice restaurant, friendly helpful staff. Location nice close by the water, good views, great restaurants nearby port city. Best option in town, free parking was a bonus.

Rooms are kind of small. Bathroom and shower area run together with a painted floor, kind of cheesy for everything else being slightly nicer. No elevator to get your suitcases and bags to upper floors, had to haul up two flights of stairs.

Nice place . Special mention to the professionalism of Reception Staff .The Nice Lady in the Reception was very helpful- Appreciate her Calling us to enquire about us and our drive to the north Early in the morning. There was a Storm warning . She called to my mobile to enquire about our well being and safety tips for driving through the storm. Thank you ( My Apology that I don’t recollect her name )

Tiny room. We expect small hotel rooms in Europe but this one was itsy-bitsy. Nowhere to put 2nd suitcase. Nowhere to hang clothes. Restaurant was crowded and overbooked. Room was clean and hotel is in a good location but pricey for what we got. Lesson learned ... stick with apartments/cottages/guesthouses in Iceland. You'll get much more space.

Everything was great, nice room, mattress good, good breakfast. Friendly staff

Very good location (walkable to everything) and the breakfast had many options- typical of the other hotels we stayed at. Beds were comfortable but the walls are thin so you will hear other guests waking up early to leave. The restaurant has great food and drinks (we got the lobster pasta and wine/beer). Free parking and nice view of the water.

The bathroom was a bit small and the shower curtain doesn't give a lot of space to shower but it was perfect for our one night stay.

The cost wasn’t worth it. There is no elevator and the property is older with no conditioner, moisturizer, or simple things

It was quite a large hotel so the breakfast was pretty packed and loud

Clean roomy, good location

The rooms were in the 3rd floor with no elevator available. We had to take the luggage up and down our selves with no support from the staff. The restaurant is too small to accommodate all guests

Older hotel, nothing special about the room a bit pricey for what it was

Rooms in the main building seemed to be significantly larger and nicer than those located in the other buildings on site. Family ended up with a room the size of a college dorm and without any heat. We had a completely different experience in the main building where the room was larger and things were better taken care of.

The entire bathroom gets wet when taking a shower. I’d recommend a pair of sandals for bathroom use after someone takes a shower.

Location was good and peaceful. The dinner Restaurant was good although the pizza was rather burnt. My lamb dish was very good.

There was no elevator so one needed to carry suitcases upstairs. Breakfast buffet was good but a little crowded.

We stayed here for a brief night in Höfn but were met with a nice and comfortable room after a long day of travel. They accommodated our request of having separate twin beds.

There was a massive fly in our room upon arrival that we had to kill with a flip flop. The decoration and materials in the hotel room felt a bit cheaply made and the bathroom floor got pretty wet since there wasn't a physical division between the shower and the rest of the bathroom aside from the shower curtain itself. It would have been nice to have breakfast included but the pricing was a bit egregious so we opted to get it on the road instead.

Good location

The room was clean but heavily fragranced, and mold was growing on the walls of the shower. Very small bathroom. The mattress was saggy and uncomfortable. Our stay was fine, but we would choose elsewhere next time.

Excellent location and delicious breakfast

Over $500 for one night for a tiny room, with paper thin walls, and a smelly wetbath that I refused to shower in.
