Hotel Seeblick Försterhaus

We stayed at this hotel during our road trip from Germany to Denmark. The detour from the highway to the property took about 10 minutes, which was perfectly fine.The location of the hotel is quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful lake right outside where you can enjoy a nice walk. You can also admire this view from the hotel’s terrace while having breakfast, which was good and varied.The lady at the reception was extremely friendly and even helped us order food from nearby restaurants in the evening. There are also plenty of parking spaces, which is very convenient for travelers by car.

Nothing, but EV changer would be nice to have there nowadays :)

Clean, quiet, good breakfast

We liked this place even before arriving there! Excellent communication prior to our arrival, so we knew exactly what to do when arriving late at night. The hotel is located in wonderful, calm, and picturesque surroundings, and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast with an amazing view of the lake. The beds are very comfortable, the shower warm and energizing, and the room/ suite spacious & cozy, overlooking the lake. We loved everything about our stay and can't wait to return!

The property was excellent! Sparkling clean, outstanding location within easy reach of quite a few German cities, the proprietor was friendly, kind, helpful and had some great stories and information. The hotel is modern and beautiful - can’t recommend this place highly enough!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was tidy and clean. We liked sparking water witch was really nice. It was pleasant sort stay.

Room was cold,but we put heating on just needed a bit more time till it heats on.

It is a bit out of the way. Aged, but ok for a stopover. Struggled to get hot water in the bathroom.

Nice location, clean and spacious rooms. They offered me a different and better room when I requested for a softer mattress. Very good breakfast and high speed wifi.

The hotel needs some refurbishment and room decor and facilities like power points are lingering in the last decade. Our twin room with lake view was small and the view partly obscured by the dining room roof. Expensive for what it delivered.

The hotel is OK for one or two nights. Very friendly staff, free parking and decent sized rooms. Good selection for breakfast and a very nice view from the restaurant terrace overseeing the lake, especially during sunny mornings.

The rooms are a bit outdated, especially the bathroom. The shower cabinet was a bit moldy at the corners. Beds are comfortable but soft, so it depends a bit on the liking. Based on this, the price seems to be a bit high for me for a hotel in the middle of nowhere ;-)

Property very light and airy. Our room was spacious with a comfy bed. Bathroom was clean, good shower! Breakfast was awesome, great variety. Dining area very clean with pretty views. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Would be nice to have kettle in room to have a coffee when waking up, but otherwise no issues at all.
