Akti Kalogria Hotel

This hotel's location is the best... Literally you cross the street and you're on the beach. Super clean room, the best housekeeping we've ever experienced in all of our travels. In addition, our suite had an amazing view of the sea and the sunsets were breathtaking. A great experience overall...

This hotel used to have a kitchenette in that same suite we stayed in about 20 years ago. We liked that... but things have changed, we understand. If there's one thing we could make different, that would be adding a small counter, a sink and at least a microwave.

Beautiful location, friendly and available staff, clean and tidy, everything you need for a family vacation

The hotel is amazing, with spacious clean rooms, very friendly and polite staff, it's own parking (very difficult to park in the area otherwise), comfortable big beds and quite at night.

MOA beach bar is right in front of the hotel, and it is not part of the hotel. This makes access to the beach not that straightforward, the beach bar is very expensive and the Kalogria beach is very crowded. The plethora of beach bars in the area really ruin the otherwise amazing location.

Gret location, parking, and big rooms with the great terase. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We had a very nice time.

The location is directly on one of the most beautiful beaches in Sithonia. Parking was, to my great surprise, very good. New towels every day, sheets every 3-4. A huge terrace that is in shade the whole day. Bed size is 2m by 2m! Hot and cold water even later at night. Kalogria beach has perfect sand, clean water, no waves for 10 days straight we were there. We stayed most days past 20h in the water (sun was going down at like 20:30). It was an extremely fulfilling holiday that will be very hard to top, hard even to match.

Without any competition, the number one thing we didn't like is the extra small fridge. To put that in context: the whole beach that is more than 1km long (from the former Isla bar to the Moa bar) and has hundreds of people (thousands?!) on it every day has zero stores of any kind. Only Moa and Mango beach bars. To the owners/management of Akti Kalogria: please put normal refrigerators in rooms, your customers will be very happy. If someone is interested, wifi was mostly not working (at least in our room), but I have zero expectations about it, so for me it's not a negative.

A few steps away from to two very beautiful turquise water beaches. Large spatious rooms, good A/C, cleaning service every day. Own guaranteed free parking. Very friendly and nice staff. Great for family vaccation.

The beaches and the road get very crowded on weekends in season, with lots of people coming on the beach on a one day basis. Ok on workdays, not too crowded.No mini market in Kalogria.

Great value for money! Always greeted by the happy and pleasant lady at the reception, Irina, and the rest of the ladies made our stay even nicer than it already was. We felt at home, safe and relaxed. Parking with plenty of shades for the hotel customers available always. Every detail has been well thought of by the owners ( I think 2 lovely ladies we had the privilege of meeting during our stay ). The room we booked had a stunning view over the entrance of the hotel and the sea. There were more than necessary insect nets installed on both of the terrace entrances from the room. The master bed was extremely comfortable ( bearing in mind I visited while 8 months pregnant, when sleeping and comfort are truly a challenge to achieve during the night ). Towels were changed every morning, the room cleaned as well daily, bedding replacing twice a week, The hotel takes overall great care of their customers. We visited them twice so far and are planning to return every season for sure.

The Location is one of a kind - few steps away from one of the best beaches I know on Sithonia. The staff is exceptional - Irina welcomed us very warm, and was helpful all the time. Thank you, Irina, we really appreciate it! We had I think the best room with the best view ever - to the sea, and the heavenly sunset. The double bed is big, I would say comfortable, bathroom renewed and very clean. The small beds are a little hard, but it`s ok, overall comfortable. The parking is a huge plus. Pay attention - Moa bar is not part of the hotel, and there are no umbrellas or sun chairs available for the hotel, you need to pay for them.

One thing that is not the hotel`s fault I guess, is that the water is a bit salty, as it is in many hotels around. Also, there is a kettle, and complimentary tea and coffee, however, if you plan to stay longer, have in mind you need to ensure dine out. It is clearly visible from the photos, just an advise to the future travelers.

Hotel is on the perfect location, right on the beach

Whenever some of the guests is smoking on the terrace all rooms around it can smell the smoke.

Awesome location and beautiful view from the big terrace, just a few steps from the beach! The room is good size for a family, and the king size bed is with a good dimensions 180-190. Aircon working perfectly, in the night there are no discos and bars so everything is quiet so you can get a nice rest.

There are no possibilities for food nearby except of the beachbars that have rather small menu's. The closest city Nikiti is the nearest place for dining and for evening kids entertainment.

Spacious and comfortable rooms just 3 metres far away from the best beach in Sithonia - Chalkidiki.Wake up, wear your swimwear and go to the beach. Relaxing family holidays.

The hotel does not offer coffee or snacks. You have to visit the beach bar next to the hotel.

Our stay in Akti Kalogria Hotel was really nice. We have visited the Kalogria Beach almost every year and we always wanted to stay at Akti Kalogria Hotel but couldn't find any available time but we made it this year. The room was big enough even for 4 people. Complementary tea, coffee at the mini bar area. Safe box, hangers enough for 4 people. It's not listed as it has breakfast option but you are able to order it for 10 Euro per person and the variety of the foods are more than enough. But the best part was the staff. We really thank all the personel but especially to Ms. Irina for her effort. She was the delight of our stay. Definitely recommended

Fantastic hotel - one of the best beaches on Sithonia, the room was spacious along with the terrace, it was very quite and really nice at night as people come here only during the day, the receptionist Katerina was especially friendly so we felt like home!

There is no taverna within a walking distance, but the beach bar MOA, it's staff and food were super!

Great, polite and friendly staff. I have booked wrongly my reservation and they managed it properly. Incredible view from the terrace - perfect for sunsets. The apartment is just few steps away from the beach. Very cozy, clean, spacious and comfortable.

Very small refrigerator. At the end of season, beach bar closes at 7pm. No restaurant in walking distance.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Beautiful beach. There is parking.

There is not much to do around the hotel. No place for kids to play. No shops or restaurants close by, except for the beach bar next to the hotel, which still has some food options. We had to drive to Nikiti for dinner each night. The room has a small fridge, so there is not enough space to keep food. Also there is no stolve, there is a kettle however. The beach is beautiful but small and very crowded, so you will have to make sure to get up early in the morning to find a spot in the free section. It gets vey crowded around the hotel, since there are a lot of parked cars.

The room is big, new and beautiful.Very close to the sea, you can go to Kalogria beach, in front of the hotel, the beach bar Moa is nice and not high prices. You can also walk to Spathies beach, more relaxed without beach bar. Breakfast is not included in the price, but they can prepare it for you prior booking and it is very nice.The best is the staff, efficient, friendly and helpful.Thank you Irina for being so sweet and for your good recommendations. The fridge was a bit small for us, but no big issue.

Comfortable large double bed. Cleaned daily. Plenty of pillows, towels etc. Staff very polite and helpful. The atmosphere was very laid-back, kind of an 80ies relaxed feel, which we enjoyed a lot. We were two families staying in adjacent rooms and loved being able to eat our own breakfast at the communal tables just outside the lobby. Would love to go back again!

This a perfect place for one or two nights to enjoy the kalogria beaches. The hotel looks old and a lite renovation doesn’t help to give at this hotel the image of a old child colony. We liked anyway the this eighties looks like atmosphere. The staff is great and very helpful.
