Location was excellent. Grounds were well maintained. Pools were good. Beaches were awesome.

The room was dated. Carpet in the room was borderline disgusting. Air conditioning was inoperable. Despite numerous efforts to change the room and at the minimum have the air conditioning situation remedied was met with negative results.It was 100+ degree

Beach

Hotel and place is very good. Suff is very proffesional and kind 10/10. Everything what we needed for our stay with two small childs.

Swimming pools with cold water. It needs to be heated for kids.Policy given by supervisor of Pefko restaurant who doesnt allow dips with beer while waiting order for the room even we offer to pay and even we have eaten at the restaurant for four days.

Beach was awesome

Condition of the golf course..lack of rain or water..rough conditions to what I'm used to in the USA

•Clean rooms with comfortable beds, spacious balconies and beautiful views (especially over the golf course at sunset).•Good Wi-Fi, even on the beach.•Large free parking.•Fast check-in, friendly and helpful staff throughout the resort.•Fridge stocked with a bottle of wine and water on arrival; daily water provided with housekeeping.•Food variety changes from day to day, and good coffee at News Café.•Beach equipped with showers, toilets and changing rooms.•Lovely promenade along the marina.•On-site pharmacy, supermarkets, clothing stores, optician, photo shop and various restaurants.•Water shuttle to Neos Marmaras (about 8 trips/day).•Activities: pool dance, kids’ disco in the evening, open-air cinema, live music.•Cleanliness well maintained throughout the resort.•Decent accessibility for people with disabilities or families with strollers.•Generally quiet, except on party nights.

•Poor soundproofing in the rooms – you can hear neighbors or music from parties.•Dining areas get very crowded and noisy at peak hours.•Smoking allowed both on restaurant terraces and on the beach.•Drinks not included with breakfast/dinner; overpriced beverages at bars (e.g. €5 for a glass of Coke poured from a 2L bottle).•Beach has pebbles, not sand (also in the water). Premium sunbeds only available for suites.•Pools look nice, but we didn’t try them.•Only 3 elevators for a large hotel → long waiting times during peak hours (inconvenient with strollers).•Value for money is not great – felt like we paid more than it was worth.

Rooms were pretty large

Self serving breakfast and dinner buffet was very crowded and not relaxed at all. It was difficult to find a free table and eating area was very loud.

Everything was perfect But you need to know is perfect for family with a lot of children

The staff

The restaurant is very noisy, especially during the dinner. It looks like kinder garden canteen rather then a restaurant in 5 stars hotel The coffee shops open too lateThe drinking water in is not available in the mini bar and complimentary water is just 1 l/day for two people. Considering that we pay 500€/night it is lack of respect for customers

The beach

Very big resort, lots of things to do, a bit old but well maintained.

The service staff ( bars, restaurants ) takes ages to bring you food, drinks or anything really. If you order at the beach you can expect to wait from 30 min up to 60 mins.

I loved the beach and the pool. The staff was friendly

There weren’t enough lounge chairs at the beach and at the pool area there weren’t enough umbrellas

Location, amenities, food.

Type of Eastern European tourists attracted are poorly behaved and devalue the resort.

Budget cost reduction everywhere. The menu is changed, downsized, the fact the towels on beach you can get only after 10h am. Less personell than years before.

The beach was amazing, but then again it's not really dependent on the hotel. And the beach bar closed at 6 pm... Kinda weird.

Literally everything almost? We spent 3500 euroes for literally rude staff that rolled their eyes when we had any complaints about the room (cleaners came to clean our room only once and we had to request more than once and the reception desk didnt care) the pools water was saltwater but the pools were dirty, noone ever cleaned them at all, literal rust in there, dead insects, etc. Everything closed at 6, heck there was literally NOTHING to do after that. In the mornings if you skipped breakfast there were no other options to eat anything untill 12. Coffee opened at 10 so before that you had no way of getting a coffee or food. Not to mention the lifeguards that would yell at you for the smallest thing. They were very rude about making us exit the pool at 6 pm and although we got out kept yelling at us. All in all the staff was very rude and frustrated, the organization was very bad and the only good thing about this '5 star resort' is the beach and the room, of course if you pay a lot of money, which in the end is not really worth it. I have been to so many resorts but this one was scandalous. Never going back again :)

Great beach great location great food.

Having half board included but not getting any drinks with dinner. Not even water is kinda bad and forces you to pay more for dinner. In breakfast there were drink machines with some choices not the most but still fine to get by but those got turned of for dinner which I didnt like

The staff, food and the range of facilities and servives are world class. Restoraunts, bars, pharmacy, 24/7 doctor, super friendly and professional staff, kids care, pool etc.Location is perfect with a lot of things to do even with small kid: walk, sport, swim...

The hotel definitelly need a renovation. It is our 2nd time in 2 years and not a single thing improved maybe removing the carpets in the rooms worth of mentioning. Old furniture, with lot of signs of wear, bathrooms as well.But overall, having the pricetag, there are nothing even close to what you will get at this resort. So, if you dont mind having a room that looks like early 2000s, enjoy the nature, the sea and the food in Porto Carras.

The rooms are very spacious and the beach is nice

Food is really low quality - breakfast and dinner. Simply, not good food. We only had dinner at the hotel once and then went to the closest village for the rest of our stay. Breakfast is very mediocre as well. Even the scrambled eggs were not so good.

It was all great, there was an excellent options for food, lots of onsite acitvities and a great Kids Club where our daughter loved the 'Mini Disco' everyday. Also a special thanks to Nico for looking after us for lunches and dinners, again, our daughter enjoyed looking our for him each time.

Some of the spa facilities were tired but I appreciate that it was the end of the season.
