- Excellent stay. Very spacious room, really comfy beds, and a private pool is a great option, there's both bath and shower. Tasty food, huge variety and delicious desserts. Welcoming and friendly staff, attentive waiters.

- A small and friendly atmosphere in this hotel due to the hardworking staff.Lovely facilities in our superior suite .Near the beachRoof terrace was lovely to sit at nighttime .
Cons -
- The buttons for "do not disturb" and "Clean the room" were not working properly, flickering and swiching on and off all the time on their own. But it didn't spoil the general impression.
- When we arrived ,there was no one to help with the luggage, and she asked us to bring it ourself ,with baby from the parking it is not ideal, the room first day was not the one we booked in the foto so we had to ask to change it and we went to room next day we expected.Food was not 5 star hotel I would say 3 star level with a lot of cold dishes for example croissants was too dry ,we also booked all inclusive however it was not really all inclusive if you want cappuccino or mohjeto you have to pay ,it is also question to booking.com as it is written all inclusive with no remarks ,and too boring for kids in comparison with 4 star hotel we stayed before .
- The food was rather typically "All-Inclusive " for this size of hotelWe paid an extra €700 for branded drinks etc Certain drinks did come at an extra charge however .No animation for children in Sept/October.

I love the ground, the greenery and the fact that it was quiet, peaceful and relaxing
Didn't like the food, I stayed 3 nights and 4 days all inclusive, and the food was the same every day. I was also very unhappy with my bed, it was making noise whenever I was on it that was annoying. I booked a swim up pool and was only in it once because it was not clean to my standard
Rooms - large, modern and, above all, clean. We received a room with a view of the pool and the sea, so better than we ordered. A welcome bottle of wine was a nice surprise! The food is delicious and varied. Additionally, the hotel's well-kept infrastructure and very nice and helpful staff. We wholeheartedly recommend it and will definitely come back ❤️
Clean, friendly staff, great food, quiet location, access to bus across the street.
Peaceful, clean, pleasant. Excellent front desk and restaurant staff
Drinks choices, repetitive food choices with little seafood offerings. Cheap meat choices. Very limited snack choices that never varied
The resort was peaceful, the pool was uncrowded, and the staff were friendly and always willing to assist in any way they could.
This hotel is more of a 4-star property than a 5-star resort, even Google lists it as a 4-star hotel. The room we were given was located at the far end of the resort, quite distant from the pool and restaurant. Although the staff offered to relocate us to a closer room the next day, it was inconvenient to pack and move again. The food was mediocre at best, and the only adults-only pool had a uniform depth throughout. Meanwhile, the other pool was designated for toddlers, leaving no suitable option for kids to enjoy, while the nearby beach is not close and you had to cross the road to reach it!
Chilled out all inclusive great for families and couples. Super comfy beds and quiet rooms. Private pools are huge!
It was great, my only suggestion would be to jazz up dinner service a little more with themed food nights and entertainment
We booked this hotel for one week with a private swimming pool. The room was excellent, with a very kind cleaning lady who prepared the room and changed towels every day. The breakfast was okay with limited options, lunch was great and dinner was also okay with limited food. The entertainment only the last night live international music was fantastic. Overall, a very comfortable place to relax for a week
Entertainment could be better. The all inclusive drinks are limited and could improve.
- The superior suite with the private pool was superb! Very spacious, clean, and secluded.- All staff were very polite and willing to assist with everything we requested. Especially Areti and Dina at the reception upgraded our room, arranged a transfer to the beach with a golf kart (500m distance - my wife is pregnant), and went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable and pleasant.- The deserts at the buffet were delicious.
- Not enough umbrellas at the main pool area. Residents did not adhere to the hotel rules and left towels for hours to secure umbrellas/sunbeds. Staff did not remove towels as per the hotel rules. Sometimes hard to find umbrellas/sunbeds.
We had a delightful stay at the hotel, especially enjoying the private pool which provided a serene and exclusive experience. The front desk staff were exceptional, offering excellent service and were incredibly helpful throughout our visit. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a team that goes above and beyond to accommodate their Guests.
Overall the quality of the room was great. The private pool was a nice touch and cleanliness and service was great. The staff were amazing really attentive and friendly. The food was above average, however it was very samey and sometimes a little overcooked and bland. But there were some dishes that were exceptional. The al a carte restaurant was incredible.
There aren’t any major complaints at all. Just that the food could have a bit more flavour and variety. And please… get a better all inclusive beer! ?
We really enjoyed our short stay here! Staff was super nice and friendly, especially Areti from reception was just great! Very nice facilities, pool and slides, kids club and bars. Cocktails were very tasty and good selection. Food was good (especially desserts), and we really liked a la carte restaurant. Beach is only in 5 minutes walk. We had junior suite with private pool, the room was big and in quiet location. And hotel dog was just a blast for our kid :)
This all-inclusive/ premium all-inclusive concept was a bit confusing, and I didn't see it mentioned either here on Booking.com or on the website. When I go to all-inclusive hotel I expect everything to be included, but here I always bumped into something which was included only for premium all-inclusive (for example special coffees). Also, the beach had only sunbeds, but no service at all. I would not call it a 5-star hotel as it is rated here. I mean, it was very nice, but not 5-star. Also no coffee/tea at main restaurant for lunch / dinner was a bit irritating. You could always get those from the bar, but if you are lazy, you just eat your delicious dessert with wine.
Clean, spacious rooms.
Location, food, staff
Clean and well maintained
Air conditioning was obviously turned off and even though kt was 25 degrees outside, rooms were stuffy and hot at nights. Food was ok, bur not great. Also the small pool in our villa was dirty…
Spacious modern and clean rooms. Good base to visit the west of Crete. Packed lunch available.Attentive reception staff who noticed we had a birthday during our stay. Birthday cake and wishes in à la carte restaurant.
Main restaurant - decor and ambience need work. Did not enjoy presence of cat and dogs. Not sure why we were unable to eat outside on occasion. All-inclusive is poorly explained prior to arrival. Only a limited choice of beverages included. Not really a problem for us as we were out all day. Not very comfortable beds
Space modern nice bedroom clean communal pool
Food is not upto 5 stars quality and not hot enough at all
‘The captain’ who was the entertainment guy was amazing it was so fun to do water polo every day with a load of strangers and make friends! As a vegetarian some times buffet’s aren’t the best place for me but this had so many options for me.
We spent 10 wonderful days at Solimar Aquamarine! Our family stayed in a room with a private pool and it was a great choice. The food was good, the drinks included in the all inclusive package were great too, including beer, local wines and cocktails, Pina Colada and Tequila Sunrise being my favorites.Speaking of the hotel staff - the people who work at the hotel were very nice! All our requests were resolved very quickly. The hotel is not close to Chania, but the buss stop is really close, 2 EUR per person to get to Chania.
