Pros +
- Hotel is located in very calm area, the advantage is that it’s not too big (around 110 rooms), with own access to the sea. The whole area and rooms are very modern, clean. Food is high quality and delicious.Appreciated whole staff who was always helpful and polite.
- We split our holiday between hussle of Chania for 5 nights then relaxation in Myrion for 5 nights - it absolutely fit that brief. Wide breakfast offering and food in the evening menu was yum (although did B&B so only had the evening meal a couple of times). It's a bit of a walk in to the neighbouring town but we got the mercury e-bikes so was easy. The staff over-exceeded our expecations and were all very courteous during our stay. a 5* experience
- All the stuff was so kind, the pool is amazing and the food and drinks by the pool are grate! The room was clean and big.
Cons -
- Agreed with others that the drinks are pricey. It was a bit quiet for the evening entertainment, assuming it's just that time at end of season.

- the reception old man with orange glasses rude and not helpful

Myrion Beach Resort & Spa is a fantastic adults-only hotel. The design is modern and stylish, the rooms are spacious and very clean, and the pool and beach area are beautiful and relaxing. Staff are friendly and attentive, and the food (especially dinner and cocktails) is excellent. Perfect place to unwind in Crete, we’d happily come back.

the house keeping clean twice a day
the reception old man with orange glasses rude and not helpful
the breakfast is nice but
reception with the orange glasses is bad. paying extra for breakfast that we didnt have !!
The property is gorgeous - the pool is big and there were always plenty of available chairs.
Most of my complaints are regarding the dining experiences at the Resort. Despite the restaurant having 10+ staff members the service was very slow to greet us and food took a long time. We then waited for 45 minutes for someone to come check on us after getting our food, which I hadn't touched because I was missing one of the menu-listed items within the dish. The food at the dinner buffet was not good and very expensive. At the breakfast buffet, servers intentionally do not come and check on you so they don't have to get you a second coffee - which they don't let you serve yourself. Again, there were around 10 staff members just hanging around but never checking on any of the tables.
It had everything we needed, beautiful beach, good proximity to Chania for exploring but also a nice distance away to provide quite and rest and relaxation
Very friendly staff, nice variety of good foods and good location
Nothing really to dislike, even the cats don’t complain!
Fantastic Hotel with fantastic location and very good staff. The best experience :)
More vegan options could be added in dinner.
Absolutely gorgeous complex with stunning interior and exterior. Check in was very pleasant, upon arrival we were offered a drink of water, freshly made lemonade or a glass of Prosecco and the choice to upgrade if we wished at a good price, but we were happy with the room we booked. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and the food and service at the A La carte restaurant was exceptional- such beautiful staff there. The outdoor pool is so beautiful. You could also spend time on the private beach and as it was end of the season we had the beach to ourselves. We really appreciated and thank the hotel for kindly letting us stay and use the sun bed after check out, as our flight wasn’t until the evening. Our only discomfort was the neighbour smoked a lot which prevented us from enjoying time out on the balcony or even being able to leave our door open for the gorgeous sea breeze if we so wished. This is not a negative reflection on the hotel.
There was nothing to dislike about the property.
Great service, clean and nice rooms, good variety of services. Pool and beach drinks ordering works awesome via mobile app (that is only one of its functions)
More fruits at breakfast, and in our 2-rooms suit there was no door to the bathroom, smart-tv would have been great (now there is only youtube available and it works bad)
The pool area and the sea area is excellent. Rooms in the pool complex are great. The breakfast is very good. The room is relatively large. All rooms at the "close to the beach" complex are great.
Not all rooms are equal, regardless of the price. Rooms located in the main building, regardless of the price "with pool view" are just above the dining room, meaning very noisy most of the time. The "outside" view rooms on the first floor has no privacy at all... people walking the alley see through the room, not mentioning the balcony. The pool area bar is good for drinks. It take a lot of time to get some food and it's very mediocre quality.
Great hotel, new and very clean. Nice view on pool and the sea. Excellent breakfast and very comfortable beds. Nice app for orders to the pool/beach area. Definetly worth staying.
Complete chill out destination…,, Lovely pool area and direct access to beachWonderful breakfasts and great choice at the buffet., with option to eat at the A la Carte restaurant.
Very clean, the breakfast was very good, the entire place was very nice. I would definitely recommend it.
The SPA is quite oversold, the SPA can’t be used without appointment and costs extra. It wasn’t a problem for us, just that from the pictures the expectation for the SPA was higher.
The atmosphere was calm, perfect for relaxing. The beach was right next to the yard and the gym of the resort was small but functional. The staff was helpful and friendly and food was tasty!
The only downside is that drinks (also non-alcoholic) are not included in the dinner.
The food was outstanding, with a great variety catering to all, including gluten-free and sugar-free options. There was a good selection of meats, fish, and vegetables dishes, though only a few traditional Greek dishes, which I definitely gave a go in trying. The desserts were beautifully presented and delicious without being too heavy. There was a young lady, always present at breakfast and dinner, who sat us each day and deserves a special mention. Her warm, friendly demeanor made our stay feel more personal, genuinely interested in what we’d been up to each day as we were with her, she’s truly an asset to the resort. Short pretty girl, brunette with her tied up annoyingly I forget her name but we were room 2207(beautiful room) and were there till Friday last week if it helps. The services were also perfect. Gym spa. Cleaners were lovely, the welcome when we checked in and a free upgrade to the loft room because our room wasn’t ready was perfect not to mention a glass of Prosecco which definitely set us off on the right start. The swimming pool was amazing and it looked out to the sea
Check-out could be improved. After such a warm welcome, it was disappointing to leave without the same level of friendliness. We weren’t asked about our stay or there was no wishing us a safe flight; it felt transactional, unlike our check-in which was with the same handsome gentleman. It’s important to maintain that warmth throughout. The bar staff were lovely, but they often got our drink orders wrong, despite ordering the same thing daily. Drinks were also very strong, so bare that in mind. There may have been some language barriers, but it wasn’t a major issue. Also it was very difficult to order from the pool so we had to constantly go up to the bar to order.Additionally, guests would reserve sunbeds with towels and disappear for hours. While time limits may not be practical, a rule to remove towels after a long absence would prevent this from becoming an issue.
Everything was so clean and fresh. The staff were all so lovely and professional. The room, food and seafront location were great.
The beach is fantastic, and the lobby is beautiful. The pool is nice too, and I like the poolside bar.
It was very quite not much happening. All the seating outside the lobby gets packed up at 9, and the pool is only open until 6. The indoor pool is only open until 7. Also while the room was comfortable it didn't have some amenities like the fridge didn't work and there was no coffee machine. Overall the hotel is beautiful but not very fun to stay in. It's good for people who are older and are looking for a very quite and sterile place to stay.
