Silver Beach Hotel & Apartments

Staff were wonderful, every contact we had with them was very good. The bar staff always get all the credit but restaurant staff, receptionists, cleaning and the gardener were all very friendly and polite.The room was excellent, we were on the ground floor so we just hopped over the small balcony wall and you were on the beach ready to reserve for sunbed for the day ( your not allowed to put stuff on sunbeds to reserve them but we did anyway!) Large room with 2 sofa beds , fridge , electric cooking ring , kettle . The shower was very good as well as the very reliable internet connection.Food was ok but more of that in the next comments.The main pool (we didn't use the smaller one) was lovely , very clean and plenty of sunbeds to go round.

As i said the food was ok but could have ben better. Breakfast and lunch tended to be better than dinner. the food was not nearly hot enough for my liking. I realise that they have a lot of people to cater for but maybe smaller serving dishes topped up more regularly might be better. Plenty of choice and the desserts were very good.A small thing that bugged me was the music in the pool area coming from the bar. Now i know it's just me being a grumpy old git but the music was quite loud at times and the playlists could have been more in place with the surroundings (do you really need AC/DC at eleven in the morning when you just want chill and read your book?). The beach is not great for swimming, quite stony when walking into the sea and drops away sharply so not good for kids but as mentioned before the pool is great.

All the staff were kind and friendly. Always ready to help with a smile.

The food buffet was okay, not our favorite. We ate Greek food throughout our whole stay and ate much better meals at other places in Crete.

The hotel is very nice and cozy All The staff are very helpful and Nice They do their best to make you as comfortable as possible. The pool is great with a nice shallow area that fitted my 2.5 yo son perfectlyThe beach is great The food is of great variety and tastes fresh, healthy and home-like.

The kids beds are quite hard, maybe it can be a good idea to add a soft mattress

Wonderful and relaxing stay!We had a fantastic experience at Silver Beach Hotel. The atmosphere is incredibly calm and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing vacation. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and always made us feel welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The hotel is in a quiet location, ideal for unwinding, yet still well connected with public transport. They also helped us easily arrange taxis and rental cars when needed. The beach is just a short walk away and offers stunning views—perfect for morning walks or sunset watching. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, stress-free holiday by the sea!

The facilities and location was great the personnel very friendly specially the lady who was in charge of cleaning our room adorable ?.

The food was good but I think they should have more variety because they have the same menu every day ☹️☹️and more kids friendly menu.

We booked two rooms for our family 2+3, all adults.The place is a real gem, Large rooms facing from one side a private beach and from the other side a very impressive pool. Near by was the dining area. Although the place was almost at full capacity, the public areas are large enough and the facilities are built in way that they never felt crowded. The rooms and the public areas were very clean. The staff was very nice and hospitable. We felt that they really made an effort to make our stay pleasant. The food options were mostly diverse, there were plenty of options for vegetables & fruits although we felt that the deserts quality could be improved.

The rooms have a bed for two persons plus two sofas for accommodation of up to 4 people. We booked a room for three and we knew in advanced that the 3rd person will sleep on one of the sofas. Although this was expected and a common practice in many places, the sofa in our room was very unconfutable to sleep in for an adult. The staff tried to help and improve the comfortability of the sofa, but even so the sleeping experience on the sofa was disappointing.

Finally a hotel without regular morning "sunbed wars" -> there are enough sunbeds both at the pool and the beach. The staff is really friendly and helpful - Claudia, Eleni, and anyone else. Beach, pools, bar, restaurant, rooms - all of that is just perfect. While staying at the second level of appartments will give you a better view of waves, if you prefer staying at the ground level as we do - then take any of rooms 72-78 or 86-92 to be in the newest buildings and at the ground level facing the sea view.

We have been looking for our holiday place for a very long time due to the need to provide a place for a large family of 6 people. In the end, we decided on the Silver Beach hotel and it was a hit! We are enchanted by this place and the people working there. Incredibly friendly, professional hotel staff, fairytale location right by the sea full of life with the possibility of snorkeling. Very comfortable family apartments with their own terrace overlooking the sea towards the setting sun and the rising moon. A pleasant pool that allows you to refresh yourself on hot days. A huge selection of delicious meals. The hotel's location makes it easy to access numerous attractions in the western part of Crete. The facility allows for a comfortable stay with children for large families, contemplation of wild nature, giving an irresistible feeling of a friendly place. I highly recommend it. the hotel is very nice (first line from the seeside), and everything was ok but the neighborhood is not really interesting - there is nothing around and it's hard even do your workouts outside (running)... but if you want to go there and stay all inclusive - its a good choice + a rent car for sightseeing

The staff was friendly, and the room was clean and also cleaned daily.

The food quality is below mediocre. The vegetables/fruits had no taste and the quality of the ingredients was very low. We could barely find anything decent to eat at lunch and dinner. For breakfast, it is a little bit better, as there are decent options... except the undrinkable coffee.Included alcohol drinks are just 'watery' tap beer, cheap tap wine and rakia.Felt like we overpaid for our stay as we preferred to eat/drink outside.The beach is full of pebbles and the sea water is not clear, also it gets deep pretty fast.The pool is not heated so at the end of September the water was cold. The sea was way warmer.

We loved our room, clean swimming pools, staff were all very friendly, food was great. Overall a fantastic holiday. Highly recommended.

The all inclusive offered does not actually include many alcoholic drinks, coffee or icecream - these are charged extra.

We had a lovely 1week AI stay there. The view from balcony was stunning, Room spacious enough for 2+2. Matresses on kingsize bed super comfortable. Staff from cleaning ladies to receptionist simply great. Food - always something to choose from, no problem to gain +2 kilos/week.

Nothing of a significance - perhaps wider offer od free drinks in pool bar within AI

Sea view, ground floor room, balcony with direct access to the beach. A strip of grass between the hotel and the beach, with trees and natural shadow. Variety of food for lunch and dinner. All staff were very heartwarming, welcoming, and hospitable. Especially Eleni, lady at the pool bar. Greetings to Eleni!

Coffee that is included in the price is just bad. There was an alternative with espresso at the bar and we had to prepare our own in the room (as bars are open from 9 AM). Anyway, I'd expect from all-inlusive with this price range to have decent coffee if not proprer espresso.Breakfast was ok, but could be of better quality and to have more variety.

Well organized, tasty food, friendly staff, nice pool, good playing area and nice beach. This is the second stay in the hotel and I highly recommend

The food (all-inclusive) was quite repetitive and for the hotel's standard I was definitely expecting more.

The hotel is located right on the beach, which is extremely relaxing. The view from the "Sea view rooms" is amazing.There was absolutely no fight for sunbeds at the pool areas - totally zen atmosphere at the pools, which creates a feeling of relaxation.Small buildings, less people, no crowds, perfectly managed grounds and beautiful flowers. The staff is working very hard and diligently, but always smiling. Spacious and clean rooms.There are several nice cats always available for petting and feeding in the garden. :)Food is good and you can always pick up something.

The sofa beds used for kids are very hard. Good that kids are not that sensitive...The beach in front of the hotel is not the perfect one - quite pebbly and steep entering the water.Beer and wine, served as part of the full board, are just water. No taste of alcohol.
