About
Regina Isabella-Resort Spa Restaurant is on the site of ancient Greek-Roman ruins, directly on the seashore in Ischia's Lacco Ameno. It offers beautiful sea views, a wellness center, and 3 swimming pools. Regina Isabella-Resort Spa Restaurant was established in the 1950s by the publisher and film producer Angelo Rizzoli. The existing spa was renovated, and now includes a thermal pool, mud baths, and several massage rooms. Rooms at Regina Isabella-Resort Spa Restaurant are furnished in a characteristic Mediterranean style, some with antique furniture. Each room has internet access, and a private balcony, with views of the garden or of the sea. The Michelin-starred restaurant, Indaco, serves delicious cuisine of the Campania region and international recipes. There is live music in the cocktail bar every evening. The rate includes beach access, use of the fitness center and sun terrace, and private parking.

I loved the location and the food
I could hear the noise in the other rooms very clearly which affected my experience alot
Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful location. The breakfast and grounds were the absolute highlight. Fantastic service.
Amazing location, the beach is amazing and the stuff is nice and friendly. Breakfast is incredible :)
I liked the view from the restaurant where breakfast was served. I liked the classic style of the hotel together with the professional well trained staff.
The hotel is beautiful and has a wonderful location directly on the water with its own private beach. Fabulous breakfast buffet and very helpful concierge.
The restaurants at the hotel were not of interest to me but there are many in the nearby towns.
Salt pool was amazing to lounge aroundHotel was walking distance to great places like Mezzatore for dinnerBreakfast was the best experience I've ever had at any hotel in Italy or Europe TBHHotel had a wide range of pool options and was a beautiful sea scenic viewHuge property so it felt like you were in a private estate with very little people to bother youPicked up from the port in a Tesla - 1 of the only 2 on the island Evening staff were by far the most helpful in giving us strong local options to truly experience our time.Places to check out Ristorante Il Delfino / Umberto a Mare / Mezzatorre
No late checkout and when I asked they immediately said my room was spoken for - but they forgot to ask me my room number first - which meant it was an obvious false statement as it was early in the week and the hotel was not full.
Breakfast was amazing with extensive choices. This is a luxury hotel experience . It gives off an old Hollywood vibe.
The location, the beach, the staff
Nothing was not good ?
It was clean and the cocktail bar staff and cocktails were great. Also had a free shuttle.
The property is beyond outdated, it seems like everything is a mix match of all the years passed with no concern for aesthetic or design. Old materials, but not in a classic European way, I’m talking bad taste. With the prices you pay for a room you would think they could spend a bit of that money to update the place. Completely stuck in time and beyond overpriced for what you get.
staff, venue, spa and restaurants on the venue
Pick-up from the ferry port was easy to book with the concierge and he was very responsive. The shuttle was about 15-20 min from the port to the hotel. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The pool was nice and quiet with staff to help with towels and umbrellas. The room was very large - we also had a balcony with a garden view that looked at the mountain on Ischia. Overall a wonderful stay and would stay again.
Confusing to get to the pool the first time but after that it was definitely easier! Would have liked a couple more food options as there are only a couple in the hotel itself.
Amazing terme, brilliant therapists (Hi Ciro and Deborah you are the best!), a gorgeous pool right on the ocean. Our room overlooking the sea was magical. I love you Ischia! We'll be back
Loved the location which was central to restaurants, shopping and beach access. The hotel felt like stepping back into the 1950s. The common areas are glamorous and well-maintained as well as the outdoor gardens. The staff were phenomenal including an amazing Concierge team.. very welcoming and helpful. The team went out of their way to assist us with every request. Also, it was a wonderful surprise to receive Prosecco upon our arrival. The shuttle provided by the hotel to/from the ferry in the main port of Ischia was very convenient transportation as well as a taxi stand located adjacent to the hotel for getting around the island.
The rooms are very outdated. It truly feels like you’re stepping back in time. The bed was very firm and the in-room amenities were lacking including the old provided hair dryer and no kettle for tea or hot coffee in the morning.Only one pool was in working condition June 2023. However there was a lot of seating with the chairs that extend out to the break wall. The breakfast was sufficient but not the high quality I was expecting for the price and caliber of the property. The onsite Michelin restaurant was underwhelming and my least favorite meal on the island.
Loved everything. Hotel staff were waiting on the dock to receive us from our boat. We were taken straight to our room without any pesky procedure in the lobby. The restaurants are delicious. We especially loved the poolside service. Swimming from the jetty is amazing. The location next to the Main Street of the town was convenient and charming.
The bed was very hard and difficult to sleep on. We were given two toppers that helped, but not really enough. They need softer mattresses.
Good selection of food, amazing pastries, beautiful breakfast room, friendly staff and good service.
great location. great staff amazing swimming
kettle in room would be good. hair dryers I’d expect to be betterthe food wasn’t great - better menu for lunch
