Great location. Love that they have an EV charger for guests! Room was comfortable.
Free breakfast but not much selection, turkey sausage. Lots of cable TV channels, no movie channels. Front desk was not always staffed, long wait to get help. Hard to find in an industrial area with views of warehouses, cell towers & construction sites.
The Staff by far made this stay easy and pleasant.. The hotel was having a number of issues with their guest management software, but the staff did not let it cause any delays for my group that was checking in... They were able to resolve the issue fast

Top Tips
- Reserve your Milford hotel room 2 to 6 weeks in advance for weekend stays, or earlier for major local events like the Milford Farmers' Market or festivals, to secure availability and better rates during peak summer months (June-August) when outdoor activities and Kings Island increase demand. Set price alerts or check hotel apps for flexible rate drops, and note that summer weather often impacts rates and availability.
- Select your hotel based on your planned activities: stay near historic downtown Milford to walk to shops and restaurants, choose properties along the I-275 corridor for fast highway access to Kings Island (20-30 minutes) or downtown Cincinnati (about 20 miles), or book near the Little Miami Scenic Trail for recreation. For step-free access or visual alarms, confirm with the hotel in advance, as amenities vary by property.
- Check recent guest reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor for up-to-date feedback on cleanliness, service, and noise levels, as older properties or those near highways may differ. Confirm with the property if you require accessible rooms or allergy-friendly features, along with essential amenities such as reliable Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast (often available at chains like Hampton Inn), a pool, or business services.
- Most suburban Milford hotels offer free on-site parking, but verify this in advance for event weekends or special requirements like EV charging. Accessible parking spaces are common locally; check size or location when booking. Public transit is very limited, so renting a car is recommended for efficient travel, though Uber and Lyft operate with potentially longer wait times.
- If traveling with pets, confirm the hotel's pet policies in writing. Many Milford hotels are pet-friendly but may charge per-stay or per-night fees and have weight or breed restrictions; service animals are exempt from pet fees by law. Local trails are accessible for dog walking, but leash laws apply, and vaccination proof may be required.
- Request specific room locations when booking: a ground-floor room for mobility or pet access, away from elevators and ice machines for quiet, or river- or trail-side rooms for scenic views. For accessible rooms such as step-free showers or visual alarms, specify your needs directly to the hotel.
- Expect Ohio lodging taxes and a local occupancy tax (typically 6-7%) to be added to your bill. Present a government-issued photo ID and the credit card used for booking at check-in, as hotels may place a hold for incidentals. International guests should ensure IDs match the reservation; a passport may be required if you are not a U.S. citizen.
- Pack for activities like biking the Little Miami Scenic Trail or kayaking the Little Miami River by bringing athletic shoes, quick-dry clothes, and insect repellent. Weather in Ohio can be variable with mosquitoes and humidity in summer, rain in spring and fall, or snow and ice in winter. Many hotels offer bike rentals or partner with local outfitters; ask the front desk for accessible gear options.
- Hotel staff are a valuable resource for the latest trail conditions, river levels, bike rentals, restaurant recommendations, or local events like the Milford Music Festival. If you have dietary or physical needs, ask staff for accessible dining or adaptive activity suggestions.
- Quiet hours are typically enforced from 10 PM to 7 AM in Milford hotels so all guests enjoy restful sleep. If you expect a late arrival or need special accommodations during these hours, notify the front desk in advance.
- Standard U.S. tipping practices include leaving $2 to $5 per day for housekeeping, $1 to $2 per bag for bellhops, $2 to $5 for valet, and 15-20% for restaurant staff. Tipping is customary but not mandatory; adjust amounts based on service quality.
- Ask about special packages, discounts such as AAA or senior rates, or hotel loyalty programs when booking. These may include perks like free breakfast, late checkout, or room upgrades. Verify eligibility and offer availability at booking, as blackout dates may apply.
- Choose hotels with flexible cancellation policies, as Ohio’s weather can change rapidly and sudden storms may impact plans. Check cancellation windows, typically 24 to 48 hours before check-in, since policies differ by provider.
- Milford hotels are mostly non-smoking, and smoking in rooms may incur substantial fees. Ask about outdoor smoking areas at check-in if needed; if step-free access is important, request a room near a designated exit.
- Cell reception can be spotty in river valleys or dense wooded areas around Milford, so download maps offline and carry a portable charger for navigation. Ask hotel staff about in-room landline access in case of emergencies.
- Tell the front desk or use the hotel app to communicate your housekeeping preferences, such as daily service, limited contact, or specific cleaning times. Accessible rooms may have tailored routines, so discuss any needs during check-in.
