Breakfast

Hotel manager was very rude, pool didn’t have towels and was told they wasn’t washed yet. Room drawer kept coming open, someone could have hurt themselves. Was charge 50 dollars for a quarter size juice stain. Which they had to wash anyway. It makes me think that they don’t wash their bedding. Hotel management instantly assumed I was having a pool party, without even checking me in. And when we went down for breakfast which was fine, kitchen staff kept looking at us. We had booked 2 rooms because we had a small gathering for my granddaughter. All kids was registered. We didn’t make no noises, no mess. We even took our own trash out. When we checked out and asked can we put in hotel dumpster, was told snow was covering it. So where were they putting their trash. I have stayed at this hotel many of times without no complaints. But this time was very different. Even though we had a small gathering, hotel management should never assume. I don’t know if it was racially motivated. But definitely was off. When I called their corporate number but in a report. Nobody has contacted me nor said anything else. I asked for all my money back or at least the rest of my deposit. Because of all the madness. How you have a pool but no towels, other people used them and I just wanted some towels. How they not washing towels for guest. And again I reached out and no one has contacted me back. Which is said because I’m a member and shouldn’t have to go through that. And ice machine on 2nd floor wasn’t working and to go find a working one.

The service is awful and the location as well

Property was clean and nice like all the Holiday Inn Expresses we stay at. Close enough to downtown but far enough we felt safe and out of the busy area. Breakfast was good.

Staff wasn’t as welcoming as we’re used to but nice enough.
