    • Excellent location, nice garden and a lovely small pool.
    • The staff was delightful and helpful. The breakfast was expansive and delicious, with the wait staff very attentive. The thermal bath and the pool hit the spot for relaxation and rejuvenation ... the nightly costs were something to smile about!!??

    Cons -

    • This is not a 4 star hotel, by no means. Internet does not work all the time in the bedroom, air conditioning was very bad. Breakfast is terrible, onl ly industrialized products, scrambled eggs were uneatable. The whole hotel has a very old decoration, needs renovation urgently. Bathroom had a terrible shower.
    • Nothing!!
    • Food was just okay. No coffee in room. Room a bit musty.

This was my second visit to the hotel and it did not disappoint. The heated pools were amazing, and the service is discreet and professional. Excellent value.

The thermal and the swimming pool were really good. The room was comfortable and we had clean bedding and towels each day. The grounds were beautiful with olive trees and a large shaded area to sit under. The location was great with shops, restaurants, beach and public transport right on the doorstep.

The breakfast let the hotel down

The location is excellent, right beside the bus stop to travel around the island. The hotel was comfortable, lovely room and very relaxing pool area. The staff were very helpful.

I travel a lot, but this is among the best facilities I have ever visited. The hotel has an excellent location. The rooms were clean, tidied every day, and the linen was changed regularly. The area has a beautiful garden and terrace where music played in the evening, and there was dancing. The water in both the indoor and outdoor pools was amazing. There is a bar with seating next to the outdoor pool where staff prepared drinks and coffee until the evening. You could also order very tasty meals from the lunch menu, as well as snacks and fruit. I would like to especially highlight the fantastic staff of this hotel and thank Giovanni and his team for their excellent work, as well as the chef for the delicious meals. Every person on the staff was kind, friendly, and willing to help. Right in front of the hotel is a bus stop, and nearby there are also beaches. The pedestrian zone with shops begins just a short distance from the hotel. This is something to experience; I highly recommend this hotel. I don’t usually go to the same place repeatedly, but I would happily return here anytime.

This is more a resort originally for italians, The were quite a lot of retirees here and not many tourists, which was very pleasant. Great pools, you are asked to wear a bathing cap (provided). Comfortable nicely appointed rooms, great restaurant, but you have to be on time for the buffets, those retirees can be quick when they want to. Restaurant offers a very good 3 course evening meal at a reasonable price, with a very nice old world silver service ambiance. Bus access was very easy. Enjoy it for what it is and have an amazing stay. Loved it.

Very good breakfast with a great selection. Central location but not noisy. Excellent pool & thermal pool wonderful outdoor area

Room on the small side and bed alittle uncomfortable (two singles joined together).

    8YvonnePosted on: 6-20-2024

The staff were all very pleasant. Food good with a nice variety. Lovely pool area.

Room basic. No view. Extremely small balcony with plants overhanging. Room on street level resulting in people looking directly into room when walking by. Could not leave patio doors or shutters open as a result.

I had seen this hotel on a previous visit, and heard guests coming out saying how much they loved it - & now I know why!! So much was great here, it's hard to know which thing to say first. Our villa room was wonderful - beautiful, spacious, with a terrace and stunning views! We loved it so much, and would love to stay in it again & again! It was so hard to leave! (Our bathroom was also spacious with a really great shower).Everything in the hotel was immaculately clean throughout, and kept consistently so. It was spotless. The rest of the hotel was also great. The outdoor pool was perfect temperature and a lovely size, and the combination of nice gardens and spectacular views over Ischia made every sun chair on the pool terrace well-positioned. The indoor thermal pool was also very good, and both pools had a good amount of space for everyone. The outdoor bar area by the pool served simple tasty lunches really reasonably, and of course Italian drinks (Aperol, Limoncello, freshly squeezed orange juice, and - especially delicious - iced coffee with chocolate and hazelnut!) as well as the usual array of options; and this made for peaceful and easy lunches near the pool when we wanted them, as well as being great for a pre- or post-dinner drink of an evening. The restaurant was very good value and had a nice array of choices, especially in the starter buffet at dinner which was packed full of delicious fresh vegetables and salads, breads, and other local goodies. Yum!The staff were lovely and super helpful - reception, restaurant, room staff; and the positioning of the hotel was so easy to access things. The bus stops right outside to go out across the island, and its also an easy walk (less than 5 minutes) to lots of restaurants, wine bars, cafes, a supermarket, shops, beaches etc. It also doesn't take long to walk to the Negombo terme and its adjacent beach. We loved our time at this hotel - it was beautiful, restful, and enjoyable. Bliss!

There is a tiny bit of traffic noise at certain points in the day but overall the many wonderful things at the hotel far outweigh this, and it's worth it for the great location, beauty and the ease of access to everything.

Good location, nice breakfast, good sized room

In a place with beaches and swimming pools in abundance, it's surprising that no hangers for wet clothes were provided

9 days on Ischia. Lovely location. Very quite hotel (end of May-beginning of June.). During my stay it appeared to cater for an older crowd so not much activity. The staff were very accomadating although some limited English. Then again I had no Italian which made communicating a little challenging. There is a lovely pool area and snacks are available at certain times. There was a small town directly outside the hotel with some restaurants and small beach area. It's beautiful and if you are looking for something quite and relaxing this spot is perfect. The public bus is also directly outside which brings you to Ischia Port every 15 mins, where you'll find many restaurants where the menu selection and quality is much better. The hotel will book any tours that are available for you around Ischia or to the nearby island. They also arranged for a driver to collect me at the airport, bring me to the port in Naples and collect me at the port on ischia which removed a lot of the stress in getting there. There is a lovely Spa, with plenty of treatment options , I had a few with Gabriella, and she was fantastic.

I would have loved if the breakfast had more of a selection. Very limited. The air-conditioning in the room was not very effective and when I spoke to others staying there, their air-conditioning was similar. Made sleeping in the heat very difficult. I did ask about adjusting settings but it was an old system and there was no way of adjusting it. The taxis to the main port is very expensive for the short trip! Its a quite island, perfect for 2-3 days. I was surprised when it came to the food- wasn't as good as I was hoping or had experienced in other parts of Italy, although I did have some love meals.

What a terrific surprise this property was! After being on the road traveling throughout Italy for 15 days, we were delighted to discover this wonderful spot. It felt like a deluxe resort without the deluxe resort price. The indoor thermal spring-fed pool, the on-site spa, the outdoor heated pool, the extensive breakfast included, the option to reserve for their on-site dinner, the excellent front desk staff, the day porter who takes your luggage to your room, the outdoor sitting area under a wisteria arbor, all of it was very much appreciated! I had a wonderful treatment at the spa - I highly recommend their services! We paid much more for other places we stayed that offered a whole lot less. A real bargain for all that comes along with the lovely private rooms!

If you stay here, be aware you can take the CS route on the EVA bus to a stop that is right across the street from the hotel. You have to buy a bus ticket before boarding (crazy system IMHO) for 1.70 euros for a one way ticket for about 5 euros for an all-day pass). You can get the tickets at a tobacco shop - ask around the port. We didn’t know this when we arrived, and we took a taxi from the ferry and it cost 30 euros! We took the bus back to the ferry and it took about 15-20 minutes to reach the port. Bus was crowded but it was a great cost effective alternative. We liked everything about the property and felt our blood pressure drop with the chill and relaxed vibe of this high-quality hotel.
