The owner is super kind! The room was clean and comfortable, the shower got hot quickly and everything works as it’s supposed to. It felt extremely safe and is in a great spot!

Not necessarily negative, but don’t expect to be able to leave your bag at the desk/ check in before your scheduled time. the owner isn’t always there so just schedule a time that will actually work for you. there’s a packet of hair+body wash per person and a bar of soap per person (just bring conditioner if that’s something you use!)

Price hike.

On arrival, Friday for one night only, the car park, which was a 15 minute walk from the hotel was quoted as 15 EUR but when we came to pay it was increased to 20 EUR. The owner said this was because Sunday, the day following our checkout was a public holiday? The room was already expensive and it felt like the hotel owner was just being greedy.Also, the bedroom had no bedside tables.

-Room tiny .-Bath unusable… and no reduction to take this I to account .-loud at night, door of thin chipboard.-Staff cold and unaccommodating. (we arrived 3 hours before check in and asked to leave our bags at reception and use the toilet - two requests I don’t find outrageous for paying guests. The woman was unhappy to keep our bags, and we were told the toilets were for staff only, and to go and use the public restroom 500m down the road… what the hell…)

Very central location, but Etretat is tiny in general

A terrible hotel, I had to take a bus back to Paris the same day as I did not want stay in the facilities. Exactly the case when the greedy pays twice. The reception works only in specified hours, to have a luggage kept at the reception they charge 4 EUR per bag! Again, to pick it up one should be only in specific hours. Receptionists do not speak English or pretend not to be speaking, in general friendly but 0 help. The facilities are quite modest, no toilet supplies in the bathroom, the room was cleaned but I personally did not feel neither comfortable nor safe to stay here.I travelled solo, they charged me 2 EUR for city tax instead of one (on the booking.com) they do not allow booking for 1 person.

It was very local so you could access the beach easy and small town center was around the corner. The host was very friendly but communication in French only .

The toilet was too simple and not great, the pictures online were looking better than the room was. It felt very oldish and not too modern at all. But for a night it did it. Was too expensive for that room.

The owner/receptionist was really really rude with us! He sent a message only asking what time we would arrive and if we would need parking and after the answer he never gave a feedback if it was reserved neither explanation about how the parking works and where we could find it. When we arrived he made us pay 15€ because the parking was already “reserved”, threatening not to give the room keys if we didn’t pay (detail: we didn’t even used the parking at the end). He said he doesn’t have time to reply to every message because he has more to do. After the episode he didn’t even explain how was the check out. It made our stay in the city start in a super stressful way after a 4 hour drive to get there. FYI parking in the street is half of the price and you can stay more hours. The room is super small, cold and we couldn’t turn on the heat. It says they will give toiletries but there wasn’t even soap to wash your hands. Really disappointing!

The parking was far from the hotel, outside in the street, just a couple of meters away from a free public parking, so consider skipping "their parking".The room has only a window pointing to a corridor and an ugly inner-roof.The paint in the bathroom was falling at the shower walls.

Bed Bugs in the room!!My husband & I booked a 2 nights stay.We were in room number 3, first floor.On our second night at 2:00 am we left our room due to the presence of several bed bugs! My husband got bitten so many times.As usual no one from the staff was there at night.We hesitated to contact them at 2:00am so we went to the car & slept there. (Knowing that the parking is far from the hotel).First thing we did in the morning was to check out & we showed them videos & pictures of the bed bugs all over the bed.They told us that they’ll call us in 2 days. (Now almost a week later, no one called us) knowing that I have a French number so it wasn’t that difficult to call me.Horrible experience with zero hygiene in the hotel!They didn’t offer any compensation or show any compassion! They acted surprised but with the number & size of the bed bugs, it’s quite surprising that no one complained about their presence before us!!!

I think it’s very much overpriced! We had a similar room in the center of Paris 150 euro cheaper than this one in Étretat!! The breakfast cost was 13 euro for 1 person but despite this , it didnt offer anything but a bad baguette, a croissant and small yoghurts and bisquettes in a basket, that you could not choose yourself. Friendly enough staff but they didnt know a word of English. The toilet and shower were in a bad shape and humid.

Did not take up that option....Location was excellent...arrived outside arranged hours but was no problem one phone call and the owner arrived in minute's....

Bathroom needed a bit of an update otherwise OK...wardrobe space is always difficult.

Friendly staff and central location

Hotel parking was a very long walk away from the hotel. My friend has a bad knee and he struggled with the walk.
