Hotel Pordoi Passo Pordoi Vegetarian Hotel

I did a Google search for a hotel in Canazei near the train station. This hotel was one of the options. I booked this hotel, only later to find out that it was not In Canazei, but a two bus connection a hour away in the middle of nowhere (except of course in the Dolomites). Apparently there is only one morning bus that takes you near the hotel. My public transportation was not going to get me to Canazei until well after the bus left. I could not cancel my reservation, so I had to eat two nights charges.

Incredible hotel and restaurant. Family owned and run, with all staff extremely helpful. Restaurant had the best vegan food we ate in all of northeast Italy (including Venice). We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

The location of this hotel was unbelievable - views in every direction of fantastic mountains and valleys. The hotel itself was also beautiful and well designed. We loved the meals we had in the dining room, both breakfast and dinner, which were delicious and served by a really kind staff. We loved staying here and would love to go back for a whole week!

Dinner portion sizes could be larger for hungry mountaineers, teenagers in particular. Breakfast order is complicated and not very flexible.

We like the mountain view from the room. And the rooms were also clean and comfortable to stay. Additionally the wellness are well equipped and could be relaxed.

This hotel is located in the magic place Passo Pordoi 2239m, which is a part of famous Sella Ronda. From the window you can see Canazei, Sassolungo (Langkofel), Passo Sella, Group of Sella. Only 3 minutes by car and you will arrive to the cablecar Sass Pordoi which brings you up to panoramic view “Terrazza delle Dolomiti” 2950m

Outstanding location, amazing views from the room and wellness room. Rooms were quite comfortable, very good for the price.

The mixture of the antique substance mixed with a modern flair based on good taste. Very friendly staff and great local food. Superb views.

First I want to thank Hotel to upgrade our room to Junior Suit which is modern design, comfortable, a lot space, full view of mountains. I appreciate that. That made us our holiday much more pleasant. Family runs the Hotel, they are very friendly, provide very good quality breakfast. There are many beautiful hiking trails next to hotel. It’s good location. There is small pond next to hotel. It’s perfect place to take peaceful pictures of sunrise. I enjoyed a lot to stay there. Thank Hotel again. I definitely will come back
