B&B Col Da La Vila

I think this was one of the best B&Bs we’ve stayed in. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, the ski room is comfortable, and the people are genuinely kind and friendly—not because they have to be, but because that’s who they are.A special mention goes to the breakfast. I travel quite a lot and have seen many different B&Bs, but the quality here, especially for a small two‑star place, is truly exceptional.The overall atmosphere is calm, cozy, and family‑like.One small note: Penia is a very small village with limited facilities, so if you want active après‑ski or more restaurant options, you’ll need a car (or bus) to Canazei, which is just a few minutes away.This is very minor thing, though. The overall experience was so pleasant that I can easily recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming place for a ski holiday as a couple.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended an excellent restaurant in town, provided delicious unique appetizers when we checked in, and breakfast had a huge array of delicious options with excellent coffee from their espresso machine.

Such a cute location! An amazing view of the mountains from the balcony in our room. Everything was well maintained.

It’s a little far from canazei, but personally we preferred that because it was a bit quieter. Your a short walk to a river path that leads through the whole valley and also off to some other trails.

Nice, cozy room

The hotel was trying to make money by limiting basic things. As a daily stipend they are giving one small soap, two small shampoos in paper bags which were not enough for sufficient cleaning. Breakfast was weak, mostly sweet cakes. Again only one tea bag per person.

Perfect location, just one stop by ski bus (stops directly at the house) from ski lift.Comfortable sleep, clean and cozy rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff!I am pretty sure it wasn't our last stay there! ☺️

Great location for the Dolomites area.

Unfortunately no Wash-service, costly to do it in the Village of Canazei, room is copyright, but a little bit small, but we had a fantastic time in Canazei, so a comfortable 8 out of 10.

Location is very good, there's a bus stop right in front of the building, Hotel has a room for ski equipment, distance to nearest lift is about 500 meters, breakfast was fine. There was a balcony and couple of places in the area of hotel where you can seat outside

Wifi was either very poor or not working at all

Edoardo is an incredible cook, best breakfast we’ve ever had. I can’t wait for Col de la Vila to open also for dinner — apparently from next year.

The room was just what we needed after hiking for a few days. Staff recommended a fabulous restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy. Exactly what we needed before starting to hike again.

Location in a small village but quite close to beatifull Dolomiti atractions. Room was clean

I didn't like breakfast set up as the full menu was available only early morning 7.00-7.30. Afterwards most of that disappeared and the owners were very lazy to supplement. Quite often there was actually not too much to supplement. Coffee was out of Italy standards and there was no one in the kitchen apart from the owner or his mother. You can't manage such pension with two people or sometimes even one.

Outdated rooms from the 80‘ies. squeaky beds and thin pillows. breakfast is a little sparse and no fresh fruit.

We had such a great stay at Col De La Vila This was very well located and the stay was incredibly friendly and welcoming.We would definitely stay again !
