    Pros +

    • Nice views, quiet, very friendly staff
    • Location was very good and the building looks great!
    • Nestled in the mountains, the location is brilliant — it’s pure pleasure to relax on the terrace with a drink or some food.

    Cons -

    • Few things. 1, there is no bunkbeds, even though you pay for a room that is bigger and not the basic one you get the exact same room. What I originally booked a street view, room with a bunkbed, I received likely their cheapest room possible, that was basically an attic turned into a room, with no windows( skylights dont count) , and no bunkbed in sight.2. The Jacuzzi that is advertised is not working, and even though we reserved thinking that’s what we’re going to get, we got a jacuzzi basically in a smelly basement without any windows, and the water was not even hot.3. I Extended checkout to 10:30 at the front desk, and I had the cleaning staff knock at my door Every five minutes rudely rushing me out of the room even though I’ve told them I am still packing and I requested the room until 10:304. Eating hours are absolutely ridiculous. Breakfast ends at 9:40, and dinner ends at 20:40 but doesn’t open till 19:00 LOL You basically can’t sleep in, and who eats dinner before 8 PM? It’s like everything in this hotel is designed purposely to make you miserable and not comfortable like a hotel should .5. Smells really bad, like Old everything. Only positive is the staff, I can tell how hard everyone works, and they try to make your stay better, but I don’t think that the owner of this place is putting much effort and money into this establishment whatsoever .
    • The coffee at breakfast really needs to be improved. The bathrooms also emitted a bit of a smell at night.
    • The room was a letdown. Photos showed spacious rooms with windows and a table, which is why I booked standard over economy. Instead, we got a tiny, windowless room, and I had to keep the door half open at night for air. Not terrible, but far from what was advertised.

Quiet surroundings in the nature - nice starry sky. Friendly receptionist gave us a better room as soon as it became available. Clean rooms, no smells. Good value for a cheaper price (compared to acommodation in the nearby towns)

Isolated hotel, out of Canazei with magnificent view and starting trail points.

    Nothing… all was great

The hotel was easily reachable by a car with access road and parking lot well maintained. The room was well furnished and comfortable. We liked the shuttle service from the hotel to the gondolas and back. The dinner menu offers a lot of possibilites and can be accompanied by a wonderful bottle of vine. It is an amazing value for money choice. We enjoyed the stay a lot.

We missed some vegetables in the breakfast bufet.

Technically, we cannot review Hotel Villetta Maria Cottage, as we have been redirected to another hotel from the same company because Hotel Villetta Maria Cottage was full with a big group of tourists and our reservation was updated. The other hotel was ok, but situated in a city not in the middle of woods as I planned.

Our reservation was updated, sending us to another hotel. However we found out about this at the reception, we have not been contacted in advance to go directly to the other place.

Good location, calm environment, good breakfast.

It was almoust no internet conection. The appartments have kitchen area, but there are any cup, any kettle, any spoon, nothing and this was not clear when you are booking.

My experience at this hotel was very positive. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of activities. The half-board meals were both tasty and plentiful, ensuring a satisfying dining experience, and service was great. The hotel's location at the foot of Marmolada offers a breathtaking and tranquil setting, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a serene getaway. The wellness area has an outdoor section which looks very appealing in the snow (we didn't get to use it due to short of time). Overall a great hotel and an awesome choice for anyone looking to do superski.

While the food was awesome, the salad buffet was rather basic. I also believe the hotel manager could enhance guest satisfaction by being more proactive in providing information about the ski lifts etc. Simple gestures like suggesting parking downstairs or picking up the ski pass the day before could significantly improve the overall guest experience.

The hotel viletta maria cottage were beyond our expectations. We got a wrong room (according to booking.com information) and the personal just switched it while we went on ski the next day. The food were very good, and the personals service, engagement and humor were so nice. We were a little in doubt about the location of the hotel, but when we arrived it turned out that the hotel offered a free shuttlebus to ciampac both in the morning and in the afternoon. We just had to call, and they would pick us up. We had a very lovely stay and for sure looking forward to visit again sometime!

The location in the middle of the woods - magic. Outdoor sauna and wood heated whirlpool and bathing in the snow after - amazing

Sound insulation - poor. Food in restaurant - average

Beautiful hotel and location. Breakfast was great.

I wish they would have more and later time slots to use the sauna and jacuzzi.

    8InnaPosted on: 9-20-2023

The hotel is a quite far from the highway and the closest village so it is very quiet and calm.

We arrived late evening and when we checked in they didn't tell us that the restaurant is closed and they don't serve dinner although there was a menu in front of the entrance. So when we went down for dinner we were unhappily surprised.
