Vale d'Azenha Hotel Rural & Residences

Beautifully designed and furnished. Very quiet room. Lots of convenient parking.

Coffee not the best.

Plentiful and delicious breakfast

The rooms are so dark, The bar staff were rarely around. The room patio chairs were not meant for lounging

room, pool, breakfast

wifi

The breakfast, the pool (although it is not heated), and the restaurant on premises is a fair value and good quality.

We were not used to scheduling everything. That was a surprise at first. But it worked well.

Able to reserve the spa for a one hour private time. The dinner was excellent Great views

Modernist style, spacious and comfortable.

Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice. The room was spacious and well-equipped with amenities like coffee and tea. The common spaces were also well-maintained and inviting. The restaurant was a highlight - the breakfast had plenty of variety, and dinner was excellent. The food was really well-prepared, and the desserts and overall selection were great.

Nothing much, just that the AC would turn off automatically after a couple of hours.

Comfortable rooms and pleasant location. Very nice and helpful staff.

Breakfast & dinner were very good!! Great interior of the hotel surprising for the location. The most comfortable bed & bed linen that's just perfect for a good night's sleep & quiet.

Jacuzzi NOT in use, which we should have been told about as that was one of the reasons for choosing the hotel. RIDICULOUS WiFi SYSTEM FOR ROOM CAN ONLY CONNECT WHEN TV ON !!Smells of dogs outside of the room on the balcony.

Modern, stylish and comfortable, big rooms, very quiet place

Location. Breakfast. Parking.

We were in a DARK room on the main floor past the breakfast room.

beautiful hotel, in the country. Peacfull and quiet. great breakfast, and staff was awesome.

room was a bit dark . insufficient lighting.

Lovely location, hotel very pleasant.

Beds a bit lumpy, some new mattresses needed.

Hotel was outside of town, up the mountain...views all the way to the ocean! Room was spacious, clean private patio, staff was super helpful and friendly. Great bar/lounge area. Meals at on-site (Golden) restaurant were excellent, especially breakfast! Pool area was lovely (too cold for use). Perfect start to our vacation in Portugal.

Beautiful remote property. Perfect for couples time away from the buzz, not so much for solo travelers unless you want to think about life.

Great room & lobby. All very charming, comfortable and well designed. My shower / bathtub was broken. Besides that, all very good. Restaurant staff friendly, maybe a bit clumsy and clueless at times, that adds to the rural charm.

Fantastic food!Beautiful modern hotel with a nice spa for 2 people at a time.

Wonderful place, elegant, quite, the perfect place to relax! Rather on the expensive side for an isolated country location in Portugal, but everything is of high quality, as described in the hotel presentation.

no complaints

Country location, comfortable rooms, good restaurant, and good selection for breakfast.

Lack of hand held shower hose, slippery bathroom floor without a bar to hold onto.

The room was really nice and big. All the staff was super friendly and the restaurant was simply out of this world! Amazing food quality and hospitality,
