    Pros +

    • The staff were so wonderful! At reception Nacho was so kind. He drove us to our room and carried our luggage down the stairs for us. We loved playing the Short Hole course. It was so much fun. We also enjoyed the driving range. The food was so tasty! Adrian was an excellent server. Actually all of the staff were very attentive and friendly. AND, they make amazing mojitos! And, very yummy omelets! We especially liked the different theme every night for the buffet. For exercise walking the course was nice. The gym was well supplied, however a few of the pieces of equipment didn’t work.
    • Definitely the SPA, great, big... it was really good. The Staff from the SPA, the massagists were great, loved all time spend there.Room was def big, huge, big bed and lovely view!Breakfast was very good, many options we did have, and staff very nice.
    • Peaceful location and large spa facility, large clean room. Lovely surprising pool area for a golfers resort

    Cons -

    • The noise of the falling rain outside of our door made it very difficult to sleep at night. Perhaps consider adding gutters would be a great solution.
    • Smell coming from the drainers (bathroom) with a little surprise with unexpected insect, unfortunately very usual in warm places, but awful ...reported on the phone with reception later on when at the check out.
    • More food selection would be appreciated. Better method for keeping buffet food hot is a must as most of the food was cold on every serving.Comfortable kingsize bed, though pillows are slightly uncomfortable.

Ideal stay to play golf, staff very good and professional, the room I got was enormous, very clean and well kept

Views are incredible. Golf court is super. Breakfast is very good. Staff in general super friendly mostly at Hoyo 19. Free drinks in the room and champagne attention for bday are a highlight.

Cleaning can be improved. In the room we killed at least one small spider per day. In hoyo 19 in the afternoon the floor was always left dirty from lunch or spa vestuarios in the afternoon also quite dirty. We asked for a baby crib but was not safe for our baby as the mattress was smaller than the crib and also there were not fitted sheets for the mattress! There were a lot of stairs to get to our room and we had a stroller for the baby hence not ideal but I think rooms without stairs have no nice view.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very relaxing and the golf course was excellent

We were disappointed we couldn’t get a massage togetherThe shower heads need updatingThere was only one restaurant open for dinner and not enough tables. We had to sit at the bar to eat

Location and the spa…… golf course.

Some of the wine tasting guests decided to crash our table……. Staff didn’t intervene.

5 star hotel should do more for its maintenance

The pool was well kept and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking was great. The room was also very spacious and bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was very substandard. For a 5* hotel we expected there to be a lot more selection of hot food. 70% of what they had be it for lunch and dinner was mostly cold cuts, cheese, salads etc but very little hot meals.

    8LeticiaPosted on: 8-28-2024

Beautiful place surrounded by the golf course. Staff very attentive. The room was comfortable and spacious.

The room has a bad smell (sewing)The spa was not great. The sauna wasn’t working and the dressing rooms weren’t clean enough or offered shampoo and conditioner or other things.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 days in a 2 bedroom suite with the mountain view. We were a family of 4 and went half board. Everything about the hotel was wonderful. From the initial greeting by staff who directed us to the reception, the cool drink while we checked in and the fantastic rooms we stayed in. The hotel is like a small village with patios that step down the hillside to the pool below. Breakfast is a huge buffet with bread, pastries, meats, hot eggs and bacon, cereal and fruit. There is fresh squeezed orange, coffee and even Cava if you want a champagne breakfast.Dinner is also a buffet and each night is a theme with Mediterranean, Mexican, Spanish, fish etc. The fish night had grouper, 3 types of prawns and fresh fished cooked to order. Even on fish night there is always meat alternatives with pork or chicken or beef plus salads and cold meats. The food was absolutely lovely and I'm glad we paid for half board. You would have to be a very fussy eater not to find nice food to eat.We made use of the communal rooms like the library (no English books but card tables for us to play on) and the pool room with a full size pool table. All the communal rooms have air conditioning. Our suite was fantastic. A free mini bar on arrival (not refilled though) and a decent pod coffee machine. The room was cleaned every day and towels replaced. All the staff were very helpful and it is such a relaxing place to be. We will go back for sure either as a family or couple.I didn't play golf as I didn't take clubs but it looks lovely and did not seem busy when we were there. The hotel is out in the countryside with a town about a 5 minute drive. There is no need to venture out but if you want to then you will need a car.For English visitors in August you should note that most of other guests are Spanish. It is very much couples and families and very relaxed. It is not Brits abroad! The view of the mountains is so relaxing. The whole place is so relaxing,

    - There are lots of steps. If you have mobility problems then beware that the terraces have lots of steps.- The indoor pool and spa is not included in the stay and has to be paid daily. The outdoor pool is very good.- Vegetarians would not find the food range as good as people who eat meat and fish.- Drinks at dinner are not free so budget about £7 a meal for 2 bottles of water. Drinks at breakfast are included.

We liked everything of the resort and every staff we met were very nice and helpful. The place is beautiful and very well maintained. Parking for the car was great too.

Steps and hills to walk within the resort but we got used to it. You can always get a lift from the electric golf cars driven by the hotel staff.

    7JacobPosted on: 8-13-2024

Staff were excellent as was the swimming pool and breakfast. Food in general was good. Really spacious rooms.

Comedy of errors, we were initially put in a room smelling heavily of smoke (despite the no smoking signs), the kind staff promptly moved us but the second room smelt of drains. Wi-Fi rarely worked. Safe was jammed, they replaced it without securing it to the walls so in effect anyone could just walk away with the safe ?.

We love this hotel, it’s our 4th visit. It’s spacious, clean with great facilities and in a brilliant location. Close to Verjer, the beaches and some great restaurants. We will definitely be back again next year.

Sadly the wonderful Spa was closed for maintenance, we were told but it was sadly missed. The rooms are very spacious but perhaps could do with a little TLC and some more accessories to make them a bit more cosy.

    8JamesPosted on: 4-30-2024

Clean comfortable suite, great walk in shower and a big terrace to sit out.

The buffet dinner was very unappetising, most of it looked tired, and the atmosphere in the dining room was non existent.

    8JonathanPosted on: 2-12-2024

Fantastic views, great location for walks. Very attentive staff with an eye for detail.

    Cardio equipment in gym.
