The staff was friendly and the location was good

When we first moved in, the fridge was filfthy from the previous occupants.

Breakfast was good. The room and bed was good, comfy and clean.

The natural light in the room was not ideal as they is only one window and the room I had the window faced the inside of the building. The next stay I will select a outward facing room or a room with a balcony.

What a wonderful stay at The Nicol Hotel. I initially booked a one-bedroom apartment, but the fantastic staff surprised us with an upgrade to their incredible 2 bedroom apartment for New Year's Eve. The apartment was massive (120 sqm) and felt like a true home away from home, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, 2 en-suite bathrooms, spacious balcony, lovely lounge and dining area. The service was impeccable, the facilities were top-notch, and the whole experience was just spectacular. I highly recommend Nicol hotel to everyone. Thank you, Nicol Hotel, for an amazing start to the new year! Cheers!!

We stayed in the one-bedroom apartment, which was very spacious and comfortable. The only downside was that there was no washing machine in the apartment, and the kitchen equipment and utensils were very limited for a longer stay.

There was a problem with my initial room door but the receptionist (Princess) quickly set me up in another room and got someone to get my luggage from the first room through the window

The network (both for calls and WiFi ) wasn't great.The towels were stained and seemingly not clean

1. The stairs to get to the reception or rooms It may not mean anything to a healthy person, but for someone like me who has back and knee pain, it's serious. If you want to use the elevator, you have to Walking in the parking lot and park on the ground floor. This is also annoying for someone who doesn't like walking through a parking lot in the grounds.Another thing is that there are no sockets in the bathroom. When I wanted to dry my hair, they said to me stand next to the TV and use it. Also I had trouble charging my phone .Their breakfast is not good either.

From arrival to departure, the staff were excellent. While having dinner, I asked the reception for a blanket and an iron, and when I returned to my room, they were there. The service was impeccable. The cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms were on time and precise.

everything was ok i just hope the hotel can have someone who can show people around Joburg even if we pay for the service its ok as long as we just know that we can go to the mall without struggle

The hotel is beautiful and I liked the surroundings morespecially a walk to the shops

ROOM -Horrible paint smell.Didnt like the towels. They have lost colour (NOT WHITE ANYMORE AND NOT SOFTBREAKFAST - Was always short and people had to wait for long for refill of other food such as sandwiches etc

I love My room it was big enough for me.

There were No Dish cloth to wipe the dishes I was using,can you please provide at least one, thank you ?.

We booked 2 standard rooms they ungraded us to 2 very beautiful self catering apartments. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious.

The attentiveness and great Breakfast my favorite was awakening to omelette everyday of my stay. The room was very comfy and peaceful.

The staff was very friendly. I was also given a room upgrade for free and this I thought was a great gesture which was really appreciated. I have stayed at this hotel for several times and my expectations are always exceeded due to the easy check-in, staff friendliness and the condition of the rooms.

We really enjoyed the comfort of the room and how clean everything was. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options, and the bed was very comfortable.

The pool being located right next to the breakfast area made it a bit uncomfortable and noisy while eating. It would have been nicer to enjoy breakfast in a quieter and more private space.

We loved everything about the place, such a beautiful place that felt like home, it was clean, the location us great next to the shopping complex, the staff were so welcoming and friendly, breakfast was also great... And the money we paid for such a beautiful place, it exceeded our expectations indeed...we wish to visit again for many days, keep up the good work Nicol, Definitely coming back soon

Hotel services such as requesting extra blankets, iron etc.... WhatsApp communication and perfect Wi-Fi signal.

Room 419 is extremely bad bcoz of the poor quality of the furniture (dining chairs, sofas and stairs steps are moving when u go upstairs).

Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also enjoyable

Upon arrival, we were given a free room upgrade, which was lovey. the room was clean, linen was clean. The kitchennet cupboards were fully stockded with cutley and crockery.
